Remarkably easy to install.

I’ve done several EasyTrack closets, and while they are not idiot proof, they are remarkably easy to design and put together for a custom looking closet at a much lower price point. You do need a working knowledge of tools and, if you want to avoid gaps because your closet space is not in multiples of two or three feet, the ability to cut metal and the shelving which can be a little tricky. The system does provide good results, particularly in a standard closet with sliding doors. Walk-ins can be trickier, but only because of the variety of sizes, which aren’t conducive to stock sizes.

Would like to see a 12 inch option on the panels

The purchase worked out great for making shelves in a bedroom closet.

Bottom edge should be edge banded. Alternately should have a radius front edge at the bottom. It is sharp and at that height you can catch your hand and/or clothing on it!

Cheap hardware caused a total collapse!

I was excited to install a new closet system. I purchased everything I thought I needed and we cleared a weekend to work on it. We got everything out and realized the corner pieces needed a shelf kit, which was not obvious when I purchased everything online. We stopped the project, ordered even more product and have lived out of boxes for the past 2 weeks. The shelf kit arrived this week and we started the project over again this morning. Hung a few vertical panels in the closet to get a feel for spacing and within a minute, everything collapsed!! Several of the included screws broke off in the wall and the rails fell, damaging the wall, my trim and the floor. Two of the vertical panels are damaged beyond use. If the included hardware cannot support portions of the shelving, there’s no way this would support any additional storage.

Nice system but ...

So, I purchased this Closet Evolution system as part of a much larger overall order from Closet Evolution. I combined a few systems and components to build my walk-in closet using their easy-to-use design website. I'm going to list my overall experience here.
