Scratches floor; uncomfortable

Wheels on the chair just scrape against the wood floor instead of rolling, which causes scratches. The seat of the chair is angled verrrryyy slightly forward, so you have the strange sensation of being about to slide off the seat at all times. You can only rest against the back of the seat if you are sitting like a shrimp, slouched forward.I would give this chair five stars if it was $20; for over a hundred, it is a horrid product.

Mesh task chair

The chair is okay. It’s just not as sturdy as I thought it would be especially the wheel base. Right now I am having problems adjusting the height. The chair is all the way up and I can’t get it to go down a notch.

Would purchase again

The color of this chair is exactly what I was looking for in a navy. It is a super comfortable chair to sit in. The fabric is not the softest material but that does not seem to bother my 9 year old. I would purchase again.

HAVE SOME ONE HELP YOU!

Once assembled, these are sturdy and comfortable desk/computer chairs. However, I must say (my own opinion here), these chairs are anything but easy to assemble! I ordered two of them; in assembling the first one, instructions for assembling the back rest were lacking. That is a two person job! Some one must hold the back rest in place WHILE you attempt to screw them on from the back. The holes do not necessarily match exactly. I found it difficult to do alone, but I did succeed. My second assembly was going better - that is, until I discovered that the pneumatic "pillar" of the chair simply was not working. It would not stay in the "up" position, but constantly went to the lowest setting. Now I am faced with the burdensome task of how to return a partly assembled chair! Then I must get another one all over again - they are for matching desks. Maybe you will have better luck than I. All said and done, they really are very nice chairs for the money. Take my advice and have someone else assembled them for you!! Less

Mediocre chair with ridiculously slow shipping

We bought this chair for my daughter's room. The cushion fabric is really itchy and only comfortable if you are wearing something that fully covers your legs. The design of the cushion itself is also not comfortable if you are a full-grown person, either. Given the price, I wouldn't buy this chair again nor would I recommend it for purchase. Since she only weighs about 55 pounds it works, but it's not something we will likely use for the long term.Beyond that, due to COVID Hayneedle's shipping estimates were way off. It shipped about four days after it was supposed to arrive.

Do not buy this chair.

This is the most uncomfortable chair I’ve ever sat in. It might as well have nails sticking out of it. How is this chair’s rating so high? Ten minutes in this chair and my butt is killing me. A whole day in it and I want to die.

Great chair

Great chair! Ive only had it a few days but very sturdy, comfortable love the height adjustments. Im using it for sewing both machine and hand. Red is very striking !

You'll need a seat pad

The chair was easy to assemble, and looked to be as pictured and described. After 2 months, however, the chair became unusable without an additional pad or mat on top of the seat. Without one, it is actually painful to sit on as I can feel the bolts under the original seat cushion poking me. Evidently very cheaply made, not sure how it goes for $200 - will be looking to return it. I am well within the weight limit this chair is rated at and am beginning to think they wrote "Weight rated up to 250 lbs. based on 8 hours of use" as in total use, not per day...

new chair

other than slow shipping, the chair is perfectly fine. we have a very small desk space, so needed a small chair. We love the colour, it actually matches our decor. We had a chair like this before but the wheels fell off, so we hope this lasts longer than a year

Good value

This chair is for my 8 year old son's room. I am keeping the chair but the back of the chair is slightly misaligned. I also wish the base was all chrome instead of the black plastic cover they used. Overall it's a good value for the money.

As good as it gets

I've had this chair since September 2018. I'm satisfied with the use of it. It has been easy to clean when accidentally stained. The material isn't something you'd want to sit on for an extended period while wearing shorts; it irritates the skin.

Good-looking but snug and somewhat stiff.

Good-looking chair; seems sturdy. A little snug and stiff-feeling. Also: the green was really bright; I should have expected that . I did get a good deal from Hayneedle.

Mesh task chair.

It looks lovely but isn't very comfortable ... the seat should be considerably deeper. I bought it online so I wasn't able to try it out. Perhaps it would be suitable for a very short person.
