Hotels are a little small for rice - clog up really easily. Wonderful for washing fruit though. Easy to hold and handle. Would still recommend.

This is what I was looking for. Got it for wild rice. Fine seeds are are hard to rinse. This works perfect.

Great for quinoa!

The holes are fine enough that the quinoa doesn't get stuck or escape -- and a smooth surface with drained pouring spout, so nothing gets stuck on the way out of the colander. Great for quinoa and therefore rice, which is smaller grained.

Great product - works well

Perfect for washing rice - much better than using a sieve. The small holes prevent the rice grains from escaping and also slow the water from draining too quickly, which helps with washing the starch away.
