Great substitute for wooden moldings. They are light and versatile when it comes to color, and easy to handle.

nice appearance; not great mechanical properties

This Crown Moulding looks good. I looks bigger in a room with a low ceiling, as in my finished basement, due to its relatively wide wall section. However, it seems to be made of acrylic, rather than polyurethane, as claimed. It melts and makes "boogers" on the cut edge under the action of the saw blade. These must be carved off. The saw blade itself gets gummed up; fortunately the residue is cleaned off by occasionally cutting a piece of wood. I dropped a piece of this uncut moulding onto a carpeted floor from waist height, and it cracked where the radiused and flat sections met. I had to toss half of the 2 meter length.
