Great set and unique oval bowls. The whole set is minimal and classic with an eggshell/cream color. It looks much more elegant than being all-white, Yet it is perfect to match with other white dishes if you are trying to create texture.

Basic and lovely. Transitional dishes. Goes with modern or traditional table scape. Fits into dishwasher nicely. Great for everyday use or company.

simple & clean dinnerware

I am very pleased with this dinnerware, which I used for the first time on Jan 1, 2024 when hosting a dinner on New Year's Day. I've been a long time fan of Villeroy & Boch. This purchase was actually inspired my items that I had gotten during my wedding registry 18 years ago and wanted to add similar items to in order to actually use!

Great versatile dish set.

Versatile dish set, however not the same as the For Me 30-piece Collection set. Was surprised that the dishes were different as they have the same name.

Beautiful unique dinnerware set, missing a plate

I was so excited about these dishes. The bowls are oval which sets this set apart. They are shiny not matte which was something I was wondering before I ordered and couldn’t find in descriptions about the dishes. The last box I opened only had 3 dinner plates, so I had to return them. I will order the set again though because I really love them. Three stars because of the missing dish and inconvenience of return/exchange. If I had received a full set I would have given full stars.

Perfect Just “For Me!”

I finally made the splurge and got my dream everyday dinnerware “For Me” just for me! I had one dinner plate for years before I completed the set. I love the craftsmanship as well as the look and feel of this line. It’s very streamlined and light. Each piece is absolute perfection! And the entire set arrived without a scratch. I work for a larger German manufacturing company in the states; there’s something to be said about the quality of German products—right down to dinnerware!

Just what I was looking for in a casual dish set

I was searching for the perfect white dish set for my new home. This classic Villeroy & Boch set is perfect. Great quality, safe for dishwasher and microwave, and beautiful. The plates and bowls are sturdy and well made. I love using them every day.

Set is not white, bowls are not round

Will be returning the set. They look beautiful and white in the picture but they're an off white, and yes it does make a difference. The bowls are also oval instead of round. Definitely not what I wanted or what the picture shows.

Perfect

We bought this set and are very pleased. There are reviews that complain about the oval bowl; however, we love them. They add a unique touch that is understated, but still very elegant. We have youngish kids and have found them to be very durable. Highly recommend!

All good except for the oval bowl

I can't find anywhere, even V&B's official website, that mentions the rice bowls are oval. The photos are all taken from an angle you can't tell it's true shape. It's odd because the plates and cups in the same collection are all round. I can't tell why making the bowl non-round adds anything more to the style, since this For Me collection is pretty simplistic and low key. Other than this, all pieces are packed carefully and arrived intact. Surface finish is superb. Even the stickers were very easy to peel off. The color is somewhere near warm white—not the crispy icy white.

Great plates BUT awkward non-stackable oval bowl!

We love these durable high-quality porcelain plates. The place setting is an excellent value: dinner plate, salad plate and mug— BUT the oval bowl is annoying and not stackable. Choose a different bowl by Villery and Boch.

Creamy white porcelain, feels nice to the touch.

These are replacing a set of dishes - stoneware that I have had for years. My first set arrived and I immediately ordered set #2. The quality is obvious. Gorgeous. Packaged well so no breakage. I am ordering the accessories as I find them. Someone can inherit my stoneware and have dishes that are durable. Now I have dishes that are durable, lightweight and beautiful. Could not be happier.

Lovely quality set of dinnerware

I purchased 3 sets. They are beautiful and very nice quality. Not completely white in color, more of an off-white. The bowls are oval in shape, which I like very much. However, one of them arrived cracked and Macys ask that the entire set be returned. I am not happy about this.

Beautiful alternative for expensive wedding china

My husband and I noted on our wedding registry a total of 4 sets of 4, giving us 12 place settings for daily use and 4 place settings for storage in case a plate breaks, etc. We love this set. It's so classic and clean. Unfortunately, we had a lot of problems with the shipment; getting sets mailed to us that arrived broken. I waited until all sets had arrived and then I went through them all and pulled out the broken pieces, this way although there seemed to be a broken plate or broken glass within each set, I combined all the broken pieces to one set and returned it as one. I'm not sure if that makes sense ;) but either way, I highly recommend this set.

2 Salad Plates were Broken

I received my box of Villeroy & Boch plates and they were beautiful but two plates were broken. I'm so disappointed. I'm hoping something can be worked out because the rest of the plates and bowls were exactly what I wanted. They are more beautiful in person. There must be a better way to pack them so they don't arrive broken. Thank you.

Classic and beautiful

I took advantage of the sale price to add to my already large collection of For Me settings, but hey, the holidays are coming up. THese really elevate a dinner. I also bought the soup bowls separately for a complete set. The look is very modern but is still warm. I use them everyday and plan to,use them for special occasions too. They are very versatile.
