Product sat in warehouse for a week before I was able to pick it up. Even then I was at HD two hours unable to contact the manager.

Easy to assemble and are serving the purpose intended.

I HAVE TO SAY THAT I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AT THE QUALITY. THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND IT WASN'T ALL THAT DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER.

It is disheartening to spend the time putting together a present for your grandchild to then realize you have a piece of junk in front of you. Both upper front sides cracked lengthwise. It is flimsy and needs to be reinforced on the inside.We should have returned it but it was all put together… easier said than done. We could have bought a bookcase half the cost or less for the same quality. Purchases of putty, paint, brackets and nails were all required but it still has 2 cracks in the front.

I’ve purchased three of these bookcases. Very nice quality. Sold wood not particle board or veneer. All pieces fit perfectly and very easy to assemble. AAA+

I have bought a couple of these. Beautiful cherry color. Actual wood, and not laminate. Easy to assemble. I love the Shaker style. Highly recommend

Missing the back panels

1.5 hour round trip, get home to find missing parts. Not happy. We'll see if the company contacts me and offers to ship the missing parts. If not this review will stand and I'll retrpurn both units purchased.

Very solid and sturdy wood bookcase. Easy to assemble and looks fantastic in my space. Adjustable shelves are a major bonus. I highly recommend.

Shaker style Cherry Wood 4-Shelf Bookcase

Arrived 5 days after ordered. Basic assembly went well. Color, size, and appearance is as attractive as pictured on website. Fits perfectly in my space and looks nice. I like the fact that it is real pine wood- stained cherry; should be durable for years. Looks very nice in my home. Upon purchase from your website, the description did not indicate that the wood WAS NOT real cherry. I only found out about it after calling customer service at Lowes. I am grateful it is NOT particle board, but real wood.

The bookshelf was fairly easy to assemble. It works fairly well with my overall project. I do wish it were a darker shade of cherry, but it is alright.

Made of wood, not just wood substitutes.

Made of solid wood. Arrived days early, well packaged. Sturdy. Very satisfied.

This took me longer than 30 minutes to put together and I ended up using a drill. All in all, the bookcase does look nice. I bought it mostly for the adjustable shelves. I gave it four-stars as the smell took several days to dissipate.

Misplaced dowel holes

The appearance is fine, but there was an assembly problem because two dowel holes were misplaced. This necessitated a work-around - poor quality control on the part of the manufacturer.

Nice bookcase

The bookcase is well designed and rather easy to put together. It is made of REAL wood (not fiberboard or particle board). Also, it came well packaged.

Beautiful but Has Chemical Smell

To those with MCS. I wish I would have looked up more reviews from other sites. The smell is mentioned in a number of reviews elsewhere. In the Q and A section of another site, one answer does state that the finish used has low to medium VOC. I have chemical sensitivities and usually spend a lot of time searching for the safety of a product before buying. I usually buy unfinished wood products to avoid the various varnishes/paints or whatever. This time I just didn't. I saw the solid wood at a reasonable price, the mention of "eco", and bought it. The smell wasn't completely obvious at first till I got it together. Then after about 15min, I could tell it was affecting me. That is really too bad!! because it is a nice piece. It feels solid. It was really easy to put together. Not sure what I'll do. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the noxious smell.

Great Looking Bookcase!!

I am so delighted with this inexpensive but quality bookcase. I spent nearly two weeks shopping for a 48-inch by 30-inch x 12-inch cherry bookcase that would complement my Sligh natural cherry wood office suite and this bookcase not only complemented it, it matched almost to a T. The bookcase is solid, sturdy and was easy to assemble despite confusing directions. And the $168 price was considerably less than than the prices on the major online retailers.
