Follow the directions.

The Ovation 48 inch shower is an advanced DIY project, if your an average DIY hire a pro for installation. Reading comprehension skills are a necessity in interpretation of the instructions which must be followed to the letter, this is a project that will take several day to complete. I recommend framing be adjusted and all walls be sheathed with 7/16 OSB the added expense will pay for itself in a beautiful shower that will give many years of service.

Bad Company, faulty product

You'd think this company would care enough about their client base and environmental impact a usable product. They respond to every review so are obviously keenly aware that nearly all panels get sent back due to damage. Stamp fragile on the box or repackage it...what is wrong with this company?! I too am waiting on my THIRD reorder to try and receive a product that isn't cracked. Two months behind on my remodel because of faulty product. These take weeks to arrive. C and M, DO BETTER!!

Lowes really screwed up

Ordered grey slate colored kit came broken. Returned lowes ordered another but they ordered tan. It came damaged. Then lowes reordered incorrectly again and sent one panel only in tan. So they have had my 700$ for months and I still have no shower. Someone needs to learn how to package and handle this stuff

Beautiful panel but a few minor glitches

We ordered the door screen/panel but received instructions for the wrong item. Thankfully, the website is good and we were able to print what we needed. The vertical metal track arrived bent which we didn’t notice initially but the glass door wouldn’t fit into it until we used wedges and a rubber hammer to open the track grove to straighten it out. Other than that, the panel is beautiful and looks fantastic. We also watched a YouTube video for installation of this type of door and it was extremely helpful.

Build should not even be selling this product.

I would not use this product if it was given to me for free. The Build agent suggested this product as an alternative when we found that the Dreamline shower inclosure was on back order. The shipping on this product was much later than they said it would be and was lost for several weeks. It got here with all 5 panels broken into pieces along the faux grout lines because it was so thin. The grout lines were just routered lines that would be water, mold and dirt catchers. The white vinyl edges did not match the white panels and looked cheap. Very disappointed. Would never put this in a clients bathroom.

The Jeffcoat Alcove Shower Surround in driftwood is an excellent and stylish choice! Even though one corner came slightly cracked on the edge, it was easily repaired and hidden. No way to tell it after installation. Sleek and modern, as well and pretty easy to install. Would recommend!

Horrible do not buy

Had my contractor at the house to put this in, The subway tiles fall apart when moving, turning over and cutting it. He was trying to tape it and finally said he would not install it and put his name on it. Was a piece of crap. The money this cost you would think it would be better than the cheap thin ones, but it is not.

Do not buy!

Like other reviewers stated, it arrived broken. All the prep work had already been done in my shower area and I could not wait another 3 weeks for a new system to arrive so I called Lowe's and told them I would trim the damaged section off the bottom of every panel, approximately 3 in and would keep them for a discount. They said that was fine and after a 2 our phone process, for my trouble they offered me a whopping $60 off. So I continue with installation and during the Dri-FIT process, I picked up one of the panels that had been laying on the floor to acclimate as instructed and the panel snaps in half at the engineered "grout line". So now because I already trimmed the 3 in off the bottom of each panel to remove the damage, the product is not returnable. Bottom line don't waste your time or your money. If you really like these kits Glacier Bay makes the them and they are in stock at most home depots for cheaper than this.product so you don't have to deal with the 3 weeks of shipping and shipping damage, and if you accidentally break a panel you can just run to the store and grab another kit.

First ones

First set came to my house broken. I think it was the delivery truck. Got a discount on the next set. After they was installed I could see where the finish side was facing each other and had rubbed the shine part off on some of the panels. The company should put something between the two panels so they don’t rub together. But I am satisfied with the way it all turned out.

This product looks nice. I remodel bathrooms and this was going to be the third time I installed one of these Craft & Main wall surrounds. But I'll never do it again. I picked up one of the walls, to cut it, and it broke in half!! I wasn't rough with it, it just broke! The customer had taken off the whole week from work for this installation, and the wall surround was suddenly broken and unusable. Fortunately, I had a different wall surround in stock from a different manufacturer, and the customer allowed me to use that one instead. Home Depot was nice enough to allow me to return the broken Craft & Main wall surround, for a full refund. But I would never buy another Craft & Main wall surround: it is too thin and too breakable.

Avoud if you ever want to finish your project

This shower wall actually looks pretty good, but it is only partially up. The first order arrived with broken pieces. The second one looked good, but realized that the wall panel was cracked. Unfortunately, we already had two sides up. We reached out to the manufacturer and just opted to pay for a replacement because we thought it might be faster. My general contractor has been on the phone with them for weeks. It has now been more than a month and the representatives tell him the same thing each time: "It's going to ship on Friday." That was four Fridays ago. My reno is done except for the shower wall (and we also can't install the shower door until the wall is up). I will contact the manufacturer again today, but I know what they are doing to say "It'll ship on Friday." Look elsewhere if you actually want to finish your project.

Havent installed it yet but I love the look of the pieces and my contractor was really impressed with the material. He really pushed us away from getting glue in panels - until he saw the quality of these panels. He thinks they are high end and will work amazing.

Easy to clean and looks great!

I ordered this set a few weeks ago and when I picked it up, it was damaged. Had to wait two weeks for a new one. The installation was not easy, but not too hard either. We were very careful measuring and measuring again and making a template before drilling. Ended up drilling into the wrong piece, but realized that if we flipped the direction of all of the other panels, it was fine. We had a few bumpy spots on our walls, but we used out shower curtain rod to hold spots down that wanted to pull away from the wall. We chose this set up because we have a shower window. It was easy to cut for the window. Overall, I am very happy with this set. It looks great. The driftwood style looks like a spa with our sage green wall color and we saved so much by doing it all ourselves.

American standard shower walls

I'm not happy with the shower walls. Poor quality, cheaply made for the money that I paid for it. Had a crack and a hole in it. Didn't have time to return and wait another 2 weeks for another one so I had to make due with what I had and fix myself. Installation isn't easy. We use alot of American Standard products and this is the worst I've ever purchased.

Breaks easily

This product does not flex and bend like other materials. Installer had cracked it in two places. I had to call manufacturer for a replacement. Total nightmare dealing with Foremost company. It took 3 days on phone and 3 weeks to be shipped left panel.

This product is junk

This product is junk. They shipped up the correct back panels but 2 short side panels. We couldn't wait another 3 weeks for another shipment so bought tile instead. There's a reason you don't see this product in the showroom.. it is thin, flimsy and brittle.

Very Fragile

Easy to install and looks great. Uses about 7 tubes of liquid nail. Sticks right to wall. BUT VERY FRAGILE. First set came cracked. Second set after waiting a month cracked as well. Was able to use it. But beware they crack easily.

Very Brittle

I'm happy with the finished product. it took a long time to get these installed because of the many broken pieces, and having to re order more of these. there was a 3 week lead time in receiving these kits, then when I finally received them, there would be a few broken pieces in the box. Here I am trying to install these, but I would have to re-order another box, and hope when it came in, the pieces weren't broken, and they always were. My suggestion would be to order 3 kits at once, and hope there are enough good pieces between the 3 kits to get the job done...then return the broken kits.

Terrible product

Ordered from Home Depot. Arrived and was wrong color, wrong size and product is cheaply made. Ordered a left shower pan and got a right. Didn’t have corner or outside molding pieces. I will never order another product from Home Depot!!!

Easy to install, I just used this product for a home DYI install it worked great. I selected this product because I wanted something quick but had higher quality finish that looks closer to tile versus a cheap insert that is put into most homes. My skill level is I am not professional, but I am handy enough I do my home projects, this product worked well for my skill level.
