I'm really happy with this Crane air purifier. It has several speed settings and a timer. I love the sleep mode. On sleep mode it runs very quietly with no lights on.

Gave me and boyfriend nose bleeds

I bought 2 - one for me and one for my boyfriend. It made my nose bleed. It also made my boyfriend's nose bleed when he used it in his bedroom. I have never had a nose bleed in my life but this machine dried out the air, when it was put on low for 8 hours, that it caused us both to have nose bleeds.

Remove plastic wrap around hepa filter before you turn on!

I turned this unit on but there was no air coming out of it. Opened up the bottom plate and found the plastic bag around the filter assembly inside. I looked in the instructions but found nothing that mentions this.

Allergy Nightmare

Within a couple hours of plugging these in (I purchased 2), my whole family reacted awful to the air quality. We had to all take Benadryl and were congested until we turned them off. I contacted the company. They said “What are we supposed to do?”, offering no help at all. Waste of $200.

Powerfully and quiet.

So far, so good! It seems to serve its purpose, as my allergy symptoms have lessened. The only complaint I have is that the fan is quite loud on the higher speeds.

it’s a little bigger than I thought and there are no handles to pick it up and relocate.

The control panel on the first unit I received did not work correctly: I had to push the ON/OFF button many times to power on, and other buttons did not work at all. The Customer Service from Crane was excellent: they sent me a new unit right away. The replacement unit works great!

Due to the air quality from the Canadian forest fires I decided to purchase a air purifier to ease my ability to breath. This is a compact unite very easy to handle and setup. I placed it on a little plant stand in my living area. It is not very noise. I was trying to push the buttons and founds that if you just slide your fingers across the button you want to select it works much better. I have just purchased a second unit for my bedroom that is because I am very pleased with this unit. I would and have bought this again.

We bought one of these at my workplace to help with "germy" people coming in the door. But it also filters out the dust and pollen that wafts in, and we all breathe better. VERY easy to use! Aftyer using it at work for 3 months, I decided I needed one at home. We live on a dirt road, and I'm hoping it will help to filter out *some* of the dust!! NOTE: I marked Yes, that it is quiet. That is especially true in the low mode, it is an acceptable background noise on the medium setting, but the high setting is loud enough that you want to keep it on medium, at least.
