Buy a wax ring..

There is no wax ring with it.. I've never had that happen before.. Now, it's 8pm and we have no toilet. Yeah, we could have gone though the box first, but as I've said, we've never not had one before.. you'd think for $330 it would come with everything you need to install it.. sad way to do business.

Excellent toilet upgrade

Excellent toilet upgrade for our old single flush toilets. Installation is straight forward as long as you follow in provided instructions. The duel flush works great and will save plenty of water. We originally ordered 3 toilets from Home Depot. 2 of the 3 were shattered during shipping. HD reordered 2 replacement toilets for us. 1 replacement was shattered during shipping. HD reordered another replacement toilet. When the final replacement arrived it was shattered too. We cancelled our order for the last replacement and ordered directly from the American Standard website. The cost was more than HD but the toilet arrived well packed and undamaged. So it took ordering 7 toilets to get 3 unbroken ones.

Dual flush is good for our septic system

Toilet is exactly what I expected. Drawing spec was entirely accurate. My space was limited due to floor water supply. This toilet was perfect for that limited floor space.

Your knees will love this toilet!

I'm tall to begin with, and getting older. My bad knees REALLY appreciate this higher height toilet. Don't forget to order the separate seat with the self closing lid. Dual flush option is also nice. Will be replacing the 2 other toilets in my house with this model.

Crappy crapper

Messed in and with this thing for 2 years, never really worked well on low flush. Over the time used way more water than normal toilet. Finally called support, sent me new main valve, same thing. Suspect poor design. WB

Not what it should be!! Disappointed

I purchased this toilet and was and continue to be disappointed. Dual flush is not what its cracked up to be. It CLOGS and OVERFLOWS quite easily. I use Scott tissue and this toilet still clogs. I have had to replace hardwood floors due to overflowing

Great toilet but.......

Easy to install and set up, well written instruction, and Great quality as well. Now here is the but, the "Power Wash" and "Everclean" surface are far from what the lead you to believe. Wen it comes to those two features this unit is no better than any other uni on the market from what I have see. But it does not take away too much from the overall quality of this unit, I would still purchase again.

Can you really fall in love with a toilet? The product came well packaged and with ample instructions. Remember that you have to buy a toilet seat and wax ring. I have not had any issues with this toilet clearing and that's amazing compared to the issues I used to have with 3 gallon flush toilets. Total thumbs UP!

Do not buy!!

Bought over another option due to good on site advertising about how much it could flush. Turns out the half flush fails to completely flush, the full flush works ok if always used (defeating the dual purpose) and the tank gasket leaks after only a short period. The latter could be easily repaired but the lack of parts info creates an issue in replacing it. Furthermore, the compleatly obscure dual flush valve with zero adjustment instructions is useless. Could have bought two cheap toilets for the price and would have felt better

Comfort and affordability

I’ve had this toilet for over a month now. I am tall so it is a perfect height for me! How much can you really say about a toilet, but it is very comfortable and the soft close seat is awesome!! I hated when anyone dropped the seat down and now you don’t even know it is closing. Great product! I actually recommend it for my Mom who just bought a new house!!

Worst Crapper Ever

I thought the dual buttons would be great for water conservation. Nope. In order to flush any TP I need the use the solid waste button. And usually twice. This is a very inefficient toilet and it gets clogged a lot. Great if you never use TP or eliminate solid waste. Do not buy this product if you wish to conserve water and have an efficiently flushing commode.

Great design, excellent water conservation

Purchased this toilet after seeing at a friend's house. Had been intrigued by the dual flush feature since first seeing in Europe. Have found this to be an excellent choice for our small powder room. Compact design, good height, flushes effectively and refills quickly. Very easily installed with included instructions.

Works great and easy to keep clean

I bought this model 5 months ago and am very happy with it. We needed a smaller length toilet to fit in a half-bath with a door that opens right in front of it. The seat is not as comfortable as our other toilet that is elongated but we have not had any mechanical issues. This toilet is used mainly by one person so it does not get heavy use. It flushes great and is easy to keep clean.

Instructions difficult to read/understand. Had to take tank apart to figure out how to adjust the settings. I'm still not sure if I'm happy with the toilet. #1 Flush doesn't handle much toilet tissue, so once again, we're back to the settings and having to drain the tank to change them.

Great product. Works perfectly regardless of choice of flush. So happy not to have to listen to and for the endless sound of running water for huge tank fills of the old model. Great to know that I am helping to conserve. My impetus for the replacement was that in my condo we have just installed individual water meters to help us to conserve and to provide fairness in the cost burden. One important thing to know. When you buy a toilet you need to know the "rough" dimension. I was replacing 2 toilets and would have thought I could just go and buy 2 toilets and call a plumber. Fortunately I called the plumber first :-) . My toilets had different rough measurements and so I had to buy 2 different toilets and was able to have only one as dual flush. I purchased the previous model that this one replaced before it was discontinued, I was very happy with it, the flush worked perfectly and was preset at the factory to flush with just a push of the button. I recently moved and bought 2 of this model as an upgrade. The first I installed and found that I needed to hold the buttons down to achieve the flush. I went through the instructions step by step ( and I am quite handy with mechanical devices) I could not get it to work. I tried the second toilet hoping that the factory preset would allow a flush with just a push. This one also I have to hold the button down! Very annoying knowing that I paid a premium for these toilets, but not enough to remove them and return them.

Extremely happy with this toilet. Worked out of the box without any real tweaking. The buttons work great and clears the bowl with every flush, regardless of which setting you use. Extremely happy with my purchase and will likely buy another one for the other bathroom.
