In terms of cooling, it did great. I put some foam board insulation in the window behind the window insert and duct wrap on the air ducts and it was very efficient.

Almost lasted a year

Don't buy this thing. It's one of the more expensive portable AC units out there and mine did not last. I bought it in June 2021 and used it through September of 2021 and now in mid-June of 2022 it no longer works well enough to keep up. The air blowing out of the top seems to blow about half as well as last year. Note: it did not get stored somewhere during the Fall/Winter where it could have been damaged. It sat right where it was during last summer, in an office that I am in 5 days per week.

Overall bad experience!

From Jun 8,2020 used it for that summer during the day. Used it for the next summer and had a heat wave on November. stopped working. Nov 1, 2021, I filled a claim with Asurion Home Depot 3-year plan. receive service on Dec 17, 2021, that's over a month. they replace the power cord. On Apr 16, 2022, A/C has stopped working and leaking from the power cord again & still no service yet on May 14, 2022. its (91 degrees F) & I can't use the A/C. waste of my money,disappointment,overall bad experience

My second review. I've had it for about three weeks. It's 99 degrees outside today. This unit is keeping three small rooms in the mid-70s, without even working hard. No water problemms. Not very noisy. Not difficult to set up. You just need to follow the instructions. I'm even doing some cooking, and it's keeping the kitchen cool.

Constantly shuts off after an hour or so of use

The tank is so small that we can only use this for around an hour or so before we have to drain it. Very annoying, especially when trying to keep a room cool all night.

I've had it a few days. It cools one or two small rooms when it's 95F outside. Not too noisy. The slider kit that mounts in the window is OK, but doesn't make a good seal. I'm going to make one out of plywood to replace it. No water leaks so far. I like it.
