Nice shelf, color different than pictured

The shelf is all wood and sturdy however the finish is a lot lighter than pictured. The customer pictures from 2020 look different, I think they changed the finish. I wanted that more vintage brown. It also took me a really long time to assemble. Simple but not easy, definitely would be better with two people. If you don’t mind the lighter color, this is a nice shelf.

DIY Attractive Bookshelf

Had to build it ourselves with the screws, but it was worth it. Color blends well with other furniture and bookshelf is attractive and sturdy.

products from Thailand seem to be poorly packed

The packaging inside the box was difficult to remove from the shelves due to adhesive being stuff to paper wrapping. It will not come completely off the shelving. Not happy with product but we can use it.

Sturdy and Attractive

These shelves were well packaged, protecting the individual pieces well. The shelves were easy to assemble and are attractive and sturdy. One down-side: one of the two shelf units we ordered had a missing peg on one of the stabilizing bars. Since each end of each stabilizing bar is supposed to have two pegs, I was still able to assemble the shelf, but the connection with a single peg is just not as strong as it was designed to be.

Solid piece of shelving, but some quality issues

The first one I ordered the holes to screw the shelves to the side panels were misaligned and all of the shelves tilted forward. I returned that one and took a chance it might just be a one time issue. The second one I got was not quite 100% level, but nothing slid when I put it on the shelf. Otherwise, it is pretty heavy and it able to accommodate a good number of books in a small area. The shelves seem solid enough that I don't expect the shelves to sag if I have heavy items on there. As long as you can return a poorly made piece, i would give this 4 stars

Met our expectations. Assembly was easy with two people, but one can do it. Would buy again.

Love These Bookcases

Awesome bookcases.....I ordered five!! They were a little difficult to assemble but I'm a senior. I did, however, use wood glue to help stabilize when trying to connect back pieces to the side pieces. The distance between shelves is perfect for my books and I have placed the bookcases side by side which creates a comforting library wall. Thank you for your pride of workmanship!!

sturdy

Overall pleased with product. But....wasn't satisfied with suggestion of anchoring product to the wall. I wanted the product to be sturdy enough to stand alone. I'm gonna place a small piece of trim behind the back so that I don't have to attach to wall.

Nice shelf, looks good

Reviews sounded good, so I ordered this to keep some extra bathroom stuff on. Husband and our 8 year old put it together, no problems. Took around 30 minutes, maybe 45, with kid help :) I really like the look of it, not too dark, not too light, it is a 'honey' color. Seems sturdy. I'm not using it for a bookshelf, it's kind of tucked away out of sight, but I would definitely get another one to keep books on, knick-knacks, etc.--it's a really good looking shelf.
