I like that it doesn’t have a tray, so the bigger birds can’t sit on it and hog the food. The little goldfinches love it.

Nice feeder!
Nicely constructed, but so far have not had birds come to the feeder. It may be the weather here but I know they will come.
This nyger (thistle) feeder is solid metal, not wood as the description states--which makes it even more bear-resistant. I put it up yesterday, and it's already attracting house finches. It is easy to clean--the bottom rotates off-which makes it better than most larger thistle feeders, which quickly allow mold to grow on the seeds. I am really pleased with this purchase.
