Fine Arts and Crafts flushmount

This is a beautiful flush mount that works well in an Arts and Crafts style. The glass is rather opaque so be prepared to install a lot of lumens (I installed 3200, the lights are on a Lutron dimmer). I recommend that you toss the flimsy mounting nuts and use threaded brass balls, then place a 1/4in fender washer between the ball and the base to spread the pressure.

Great Craftsman Style Light

Beautiful light. Adds a cozy, cabin vibe to any room. I would call this Craftsman style. The shade gives off a somewhat yellow glow and is great for ambience.

Beautiful, BUT ...

The fixtures are beautiful and look even better than they did online. BUT, be aware that the tinting means that they do not give off as much light as clear fixtures would do. Reasonable and predictable, but noteworthy.

Nice but odd color cast

I just did not like the glass color. Makes your light cast a very yellow-ish shade that to me looked almost like a "bug light" yellow. If the shade were to have been more white opaque, it would have been delightful.

Perfect Lighting for our Cottage!!

We chose the Burnished Bronze Yosemite lighting fixtures ~ four of them ~ for a new guest cottage in the woods in our backyard. These fixtures couldn't be a more perfect choice for the theme of this guest cottage and Vaxcel produces their light fixtures with quality in mind and an eye for the rustic look. Fun with lighting

I love the woodsy feel from this light. We bought 5 to light our hallway and are very happy. Only negative would be that it gives off a soft yellow glow. I would have preferred more white light as the hallway is kind of dark.

Good Quality

We installed this light in our guest room at our log cabin at the lake. This was a good upgrade from the ceiling lamp that was there. We are very happy with the quality of the product and will order again from this company. If there is a slight negative at all it is that due to the color of the glass used causing the light to be not as bright as we had hoped.

The lights all arrived in good shape. They went onto a wood ceiling at a lake home. they really helped give us the 'cabin at the lake' look. the CFL modification will also save energy. the light produced in the hallway is just right. We love the fixtures.

Super cute lights for a great price.

These lights look great in the kitchen of my restored log cabin. When we first installed them, they were getting very hot with standard bulbs in them so we put in the new low wattage bulbs and there were no issues. This may have been a function of the ceiling panels we have that are not standard drywall, not sure. Either way, they look great and match a similar light we bought from this site for over our dining room table.

Completely Satisfied

Light fixture arrived promptly and appropriately boxed. Was just a bit ackward to install - needed a second pair of hands. Instructions were helpful if you're not an electrician. Was the perfect light for our home bedroom as we had repainted and added a stencilled pinecone and evergreen bough around the upper walls by the ceiling. Fixture perfectly completed the "up north" look. Never did experience any type of odor as stated in a previous comment. Lights up the 12x12 bedroom well after a few minutes due to the energy-saving bulbs required. Good quality fixture.
