Zalto Wine Glasses are Simply the Best!

I started acquiring these awesome wine glasses about six years ago when an employee at a winery in Oregon turned me onto them. I now own the bordeaux, burgundy, universal, champagne, etc. Once you begin pouring your favorite varietals into the proper Zalto glass it is a game changer and you will drink wine out of nothing else. When I travel I place two bordeaux wine glasses in a hardshell aluminum case I found on Amazon and they are protected from any damage and I get the best wine glass when I open a bottle of wine. Zalto wine glasses will change your wine experience.

Great glasses

Great glasses, wide bowl that provides an amazing nose; thin and elegant, and prefer these over my much more expensive Gabriel Glas set (that set is about $100 per glass).

Like drinking from air

Phenomenal experience. These glasses are the absolute best for taste and nose experience of a wine. Many wineries in Austria use them exclusively. Had to buy them immediately when I arrived home.

A beautiful work of art. Very Very thin. Knew it was not going to last long. One bottle of wine and three hand washes. Drying very gently after the third and following guidelines the bowl shattered. Hand was cut also. Beware.

Best glasses ever!

We couldn't be more pleased with our Zalto Bordeaux glasses! They absolutely enhance the experience of each wine we taste, enabling us to pick up nuances, aromas and flavors we would have missed in another glass. They also feel light, but not fragile in our hands. Lastly, it is true, they are dishwasher safe. I was hesitant to put them in the dishwasher, but now I realize it is safer than washing them by hand. We're big fans!

Best wine glasses

I think the Zalto wine glasses are great. They’re surprisingly lightweight and provide a vastly better wine drinking experience versus other stems I own e.g. Riedel Sommelier series. If you’re considering the Zalto, don’t hesitate buying a set, you won’t regret these wine stems.

Wine lovers glass

If you’ve never tried wine out of a zalto glass, you haven’t lived! It is def a different experience. My first time was at blue hill stone barns (top 10 restaurant in country, maybe world, I forgot). I said I had to have these glasses. Very pricy but since I’m locked up all year in my house, why not! Worth every penny. Cheers

Most Exquisite Wine Glasses Ever

These delicate glasses provide the perfect vessel to showcase your bordeaux and cabs. They really make a difference. Best is to get glasses for all the major categories (i.e. burgundy, champagne). You'll never reach for another glass. They say they're dishwasher safe, but given the price per glass (it's an investment), I hand wash.

Beautiful but extremely delicate

The glasses are beautiful and perfect for swirling and drinking wine. My issue is they are too delicate for daily use. I purchased four and broke 2 within a month. Both broke during rag cleaning. One snapped at the stem the other literally shattered in my hand as I wiped the inside. At this proce I would expect more durability along with the superior function they do provide

Zalto Glasses...an extravagance worth the price!

LOVE all the Zalto styles. We have almost every style of the Reidel Sommelier line and we enjoy them immensely. The Zalto Bordeaux glasses, however, seem to be the ones we reach for most often. Just ordered the champagne glasses...lovely for sipping Prosecco. One caveat....the glasses are supposedly dishwasher safe.. ( I never put my fine glassware in the dishwasher)...I have, unfortunately, broken two of my Zalto Bordeaux glasses while hand washing them. They are, in my opinion, very fragile. But they are amazingly beautiful and wonderful to use. Worth the cost if you love really fine glassware.

Enhances the enjoyment of Bordeaux

I defer to the experts regarding the selection of glass that will yield the optimum enjoyment for a given varietal or regional wine. While the shapes and sizes vary between those companies that offer such glasses, I found the Zalto Denk'Art Bordeaux glass to provide optimum enjoyment of the wine. The glass is delicate so I use a dedicated wine brush to wash it, a dedicated wine drying rack to dry it and a dedicated wine micro cloth so that it is in great shape for the next use.

Broke On the first Swish of Ice Cubes in the Glass...

I'm devastated. I love the style and dug the sleek elegant nature of the glass but I expected it to be sturdy. Sadly this wine glass broke (a little round jagged edge circle from the side of the glass, upon my usual swirling of ice cubes to chill the glass.. sadly these are not sturdy nor was proper design to allow basic ice cube swilling.. I will contact them to get a refund. this is my only hope they use stronger glass or reinforce the center of the glass but keep the lip thin and elegant.

Very top line Bourdeaux or Cabernet/Merlot based wine glasses

When I open a great bottle of wine, I will often compare put some wine in one of these and some in a Reidel or Speiglau glass and taste. This glass stands up well to both, although on some wines, the other glasses seem to provide a better taste. If you have a nice cellar, you should at least give a glass a try. To start I just bought one or two glasses and have added more during sales based on their performance. The glasses are very light.
