Received and waiting for contractor to finish kitchen remodel to have it installed.

My installed model is a ZAN-E30CS. It is very loud. It has five speeds, but mostly we use the lowest speed, which registers about 61 DB, or equivalently about 9-10 sones (I think). The highest speed registers at 75 DB. I'm looking to replace it was a quieter hood.

Addition to a Kitchen

We've had this Range Hood for a month and love it!

Well balanced mid-level range hood

Well built, packaged, simple installation. The grease filters were unfortunately pre-installed and easily damaged while unboxing the unit. The optional stainless filters are great; should be priced in and included with the unit. The unit has a strong dual squirrel-cage fan and 5 speeds from 57db to 75db sound levels. Good LED lighting with two illumination settings. I’d specify again.

Its actually pretty quiet and looks awesome

We were remodeling our kitchen and someone suggested an exhaust fan, so we did our research and decided on this exhaust fan. First it looks awesome, second it strong enough to exhaust any and all smells. Third we no longer have to worry about lingering odors, fourth the filters are dish washer friendly. Wish we knew about these exhaust fans before.....would definitely recommend this fan

Beautiful hood

I love this hood. Beautiful finush to it, and works perfectly.

It's nice overall

No complain, the only thing is that it sounds louder in my house than in the store. But I think it's partially(probably mainly) because of my vent condition. There's a stud right in the center of the hood position in the wall, so the hole is at the side and had to use a soft pipe in order to fit it, of course, as a result the opening is not as big as it should be, and there's turning in the pipe. I think that's the reason it's not that quite.Another thing I kind of foresee at the moment of purchasing, the hood comes with lightning, but the light is located at the front part of the hood, since the bigger and commonly used burners are at the front, I worried about the power and effectiveness of the venting. I was told not to worry about it. But it did seem to be an issue, I can still smell food at the second floor if there's cooking going on in the kitchen. So I think it's still better if the lightning was at the back section of the hood. Less
