2 piece chimney extension

I ordered this product with my z line chimney in July thinking i needed it because of the height adjustments for 11 ft ceilings. I wasn’t able to install my z line chimney until today because completion of new construction project was delayed. Home depot wouldn’t let me return it even though the box was never opened and I had my receipt. Not a pleasant day considering it cost $259.95. Home depot shouldn’t sell this product if its not retunable due to not needing it.

I don't normally order stuff on line. Zline has been awesome their quick turn around time and their quality products have been well worth it. I highly recommend this company. The only bad thing is my sister saw what I did and I am probably going to have to do hers.

The extension piece is definitely needed for ceilings over 8 feet. For our 9 for ceiling, the extension was too long. It prevented the lower section from fitting property into the main body of the fan. I had to trim the extension piece by several inches to make it fit properly. Unless you have tools to cut stainless steel sheet metal, you aren't going to be able to do that on your own.

I bought a ZLine hood for my new home since my previous one served us well. Initially I was concerned because the chimney was not tall enough and the stacked option my contractor provided was not what I wanted. Luckily when I called ZLine they offered a chimney that went to the ceiling. Thank you!

Extension Vent for Fan Hood

I have a 12 foot kitchen ceiling which required an extension. The extension was perfect and I did not need to use the section that came with the vent. The contractor said it was easy to install and straight forward. Looks fabulous!
