Although the price is expensive, it's worth the price. It could hold water well and keep the temperature until the next day. Happy with the purchase.

Perfect and lived up to expectations. This is the second thermos by this brand that I have purchased. Keeps coffee hot until the following day.

Performance:excellent

Product is properly and securely wrapped and with fragile tape and efficiently delivered. The glass lined thermal flask is working well so far after few days test. The water is still hot after 8 hours overnight after pouring in boiling hot water before sleep, and great to wake up to a cup of hot water in the next morning. Although it's not as steaming hot as needed for making local coffee/ oat/ chocolate/ black tea, but good enough for making green tea or beverage that needs lower temperature. Heat preservation is much better than my previous Thermos and La Gourmet, and the most important thing is that it doesn't have the metal smell and taste in the hot water, though it may break easily and need to handle with greater care. The one-push open button is also well designed where we don't need to keep pressing down the button when pouring out the hot water. The only downside found so far is the opening and pouring mouth is rather small and the water doesn't flow out smoothly, we need to tilt higher for the water to flow out but tilting too much will cause water leaking out from the cap. So it's quite tiring for older people with weaker arms as the pot is relatively heavier. Overall a good buy.

After sales service is surprisingly good. Delivery well packaged. The body of the pot has some discolouration, seller offers to exchange. They have a dealer office in Desa Sri Hartamas, new pot was sent there for exchange. Very convenient if you are in klang valley.As for the product, boiling hot water kept in the pot after 12-15hrs still warm. The “easy to press button” feature to open and close feels solid, not the flimsy type. However personally prefer to go without the button. Didn’t notice this feature during purchase.Overall a very pleasant purchase

Fast delivery, super great packaging with DOUBLE layer bubble wrap and item received in great condition. Very good insulation and it keeps my coffee/tea hot! I like it cause it’s glass and does not stain the inner part nor has a steel taste and is easy to wash. Looking forward to buy more of zoji product.

This glass carafe keeps coffee hot for a long time. We really like how you push the button to dispense and then click to close the pouring mechanism. The brushed stainless finish resists fingerprints.

Perfect for hosting or at work.

I prefer a glass liner carafe to stainless. The lid is extremely easy to use. Overall design is great. My spouse & I enjoy having hot coffee at the table for breakfast. Can’t wait to use for next gathering. Highly recommend.

One of the best carafes but a few flaws

This is a long term review as I own this product for over 4 years. I use the carafe to keep coffee hot or if only making a liter, I will directly drip into the carafe. Bottom line is the carafe keeps the coffee hot for 5 hours before a noticeable drop off.

Coffee stays fairly hot throughout the entire day. I've consumed coffee the second day and only needed a very slight warm up. The carafe holds quite a bit of coffee. I generally make around 12 cups in my electric percolator to fill up the thermos. The only problem is that you have to lift the bottom end up high enough to get the remaining coffee out. My other thermal carafe, which cost much more, is a pump-type, and keeps my coffee hot enough for two days. It's probably unfair to compare the two, but this one is worth at least 4 stars.

Tried and True

We had owned one of these exact models in the 90s to mid 2000s. It was SUPERIOR. When that one got older, we have it to mom, and we bought one of these models. It is of the same superior construction. However, it simply does not keep the coffee hot enough. The previous one would hold heat so that the NEXT morning your coffee was still pretty warm. But this one holds it about a couple of hours only. I bought this one for my mom. Our original one had finally broken, leaking when pouring. She found a substitute carafe, but it wasn't doing the trick. Well this one also is like our same model. It simply isn't the same. It is better than many, but if you really want to keep things hot, you may want to try an old-fashioned thermos. This works, though.
