Best pan I have for a myriad of applications

Have had my le crueset cookware for years and love every piece for its own sake. This particular pan is a workhorse for me. I bake my buttermilk biscuits exclusively in it and they always turn out flawless. Also use it for searing, sautéing and finishing off in the oven. I am glad that I bit the proverbial bullet and paid the big bucks for all of my le crueset cookware when I did .... Phenomenal investment and all the pieces fit in well with the few other ceramic and stainless steel cookware in my kitchen.

Disappointing. Poor value!

This doesn't pour properly. And unfortunately the plunger has chipped. I can't buy a replacement. So in the bin it goes! This is the second cafetière that I have bought. The last one was a bigger size and cracks appeared at the side. That too went in the bin. I cannot recommend this product. I have a lot of this range, which has been very good value. This is not.

Bought as a gift along with Braiser

Bought for a good friend. I haven't given her the gift yet, but think she will like it. She has a number of pieces and has cooked a couple times for me. 2 came along as a promotion with a Braiser I bought for her as well. She tends to roast garlic and infuse in olive oil and think these would be good for that. (saw that in one other review). I think these would be perfect for maybe French onion soup, or creme brulee ( hoping she will read this - hint hint - and make that for me as well!

Better Bread

I love Dutch Oven bread, and I was doubtful that this pot would bake bread better. But it does. The bread rises higher than it usually does. And it does it without making air pockets. I remove the lid to finish the last 15 minutes of baking to get a perfect crust. I preheat the pot in the oven, and the red pot gets very dark, almost black, but the colour returns when it cools down.

Best Everyday Pan

This pan easily replaced several All-Clad pans we use. It is much easier to clean, and the double handles are so helpful. You can make anything from breakfast to seafood in this pan, and the best part is that it cleans up so easily. I typically get frustrated cleaning my stainless steel pans, but this is fantastic. You can't beat the gorgeous colors it comes in, and the quality is what you're expecting from the Le Creuset brand. This pan is a fantastic value compared to the skillet if you don't need the pour feature.

The kettle seems to be good quality and works well. Giving it 4 stars as the color name and picture didn’t match on the Wayfair app/website. I ordered sea salt, which is supposed to be light green but I received meringue, which is a cream color. I decided to keep it since the color is neutral and I didn’t want the hassle of a return. I would recommend this product. Just know that Wayfair doesn’t offer the sea salt color for this product, and what is labeled sea salt is actually meringue.

My keeping a star back

My keeping a star back has nothing to do with the product or Consiglios. It’s a beautiful Kettle and the quality is of course perfect being Le Creuset. I guess I forgot how heavy their products are, of course I’m still going to use it everyday.

Not what it use to be!

Loved my old version. But alas prices go up quality goes down. They are now made in Thailand. Surprised it’s not China. WS use to stand behind its product. Howard Lester (CEO) made sure of that. After his passing Laura Albee (new CEO) changed all that. It was no longer about the customer but profits and shareholders. This was a great company that was ruined by greed.

My new favorite pot (in an exquisite color!)

I am thrilled with my new Le Creuset pot! The color makes me happy each time I pull it out. It has the usual excellent quality found in all Le Creuset products. I also love the size. I bought it to replace a pot that we frequently use to cook rice and oatmeal. Its size can accommodate just about any number of portions for home use.I love this pot and I knew the minute I saw it that it was the one!

I read reviews claiming "leaks", but finding that hard to believe I did decide to order trusting the brand name.

Do not recommend

I do NOT RECOMMEND. This pan has an enamel interior so is not cast iron in the sense that you can build seasoning. It is impossible to clean. I have scrubbed and scrubbed and soaked and soaked, and it still has gunk on the exterior. Also, reached out about exchanging for a different product at 10% of the value of this skillet (which is how much I abhor it) and was denied, despite the fact that they clearly claim it is easy to clean. I will never buy another product from them. The customer service was like a robot. Clearly not interested in the real people who use their products.

Annoying stickers and a kettle that constantly drips!

Not impressed with the Creuset kettle. First, an incredible amount of packaging was sent with the kettle. Then, there are a couple on logo stickers placed directly on the kettle that are very difficult to remove, leading to a scuffed kettle and a lot of frustration. Finally the kettle must be poorly designed as it has a constant drip while pouring. Not a small drip either, this drip leaves a significant puddle if you don't catch it right away. Very disappointing purchase, significantly below expectations.

Fabulous saucepan

A really lovely saucepan. Ok, it is heavy but it only took a day or two to adapt to the weight. Used properly the Le Creuset ceramic surface is pretty much non-stick - but without all the added nasties that go into more modern non-stick cooking items. Hurrah for a morning porridge pan that washes clean so easily.

My new go-to pan

I can’t recommend this pan highly enough. I bought the 10 1/4 version and will be purchasing the 12” as well. I rarely write reviews but this pan deserves it: after 3 months of almost daily use I love it! I have many All Clad pans, their most expensive version, as well as older Le Creuset pans and Staub. This new frying pan surpassed them all for daily sautéing and frying, it’s simply marvelous. Le Creuset coating has GREATLY improved, can’t emphasize it enough. Don’t know what they did to it but the difference is very tangible, and for the better. Almost hard to believe any product has changed for the better, usually it’s the opposite these days. Very pleasantly surprised. Have recommended it to all my friends. I have also used it with a cast iron cover from smaller Le Creuset Dutch ovens. If you’re cooking for one you don’t even have to take a Dutch ovens or braiser out, this pan + cover does the job.

Absolutely the most stunningly beautiful kettle!!

This catalog bring joy and happiness to your heart every time you see it on top of the stove. It can be placed there as a display in fact this Kettle is probably for display purposes only. Stunning in person, the prettiest kettle ever! Use to impress when people come for tea. Then promptly clean and dry, and replace on stove for display only. Never ever let your husband use. Put something inside to discourage his use. I had mine on the stove and it made me very happy just to look at it. It is just the most beautiful kettle ever absolutely stunning to look at. If I wanted a cup of tea I could use it on use my old one or plug in my fast heating electric kettle. Everyday I looked at this kettle on my stove it made me happy. Pure joy to see it on a clean stove.
