First of all, nice that the pressure regulator is included and pre-wired, because having to buy that extra just "pumps" up the total price (ha ha). It has clear instructions of how to prime it and an easy-access port to pour water into. At a full horsepower, it comes set for 120V but can easily be converted to 240V if that's what you have. As a technical writer, I appreciate the clear, illustrated instructions that were sufficiently detailed but not dauntingly verbose (and if you lose them, you can pull them off HD's page for the pump). Cast iron motor housing beats plastic any day in my book, and the thermoplastic impeller will probably outlast my house. I like the 3-year warranty, about 2 years over typical. Assembled in USA--go 'Merica. The 1-1/4" intake and 1" discharge let it move plenty of water (rate at 630 gph). Note that it's a shallow-well pump, only good down to 25 ft (water is heavy, I'll admit that!). Looking forward to a long an uneventful relationship.
