I would give it a 5 rating, but we paid Wayfair for assembly, and the person did not know how to do it. We called Wayfair to refund the money for assembly and they agreed to do it. 11 months later and still no refund. So we spent the money for a prelit tree and extra for assembly. We would have saved a lot of money by buying a tree that was not prelit and not paying for assembly.
Gorgeous Tree!!
This tree is beautiful and easy to put together. It does have the white or colored light option. When it arrived, the upper half was white lights and lower half was colored lights. I called customer service and they said it was a faulty foot pedal, where you change the color. They sent me a new foot pedal, which I received in 2 days and a set of colored lights as a gift. Works beautifully. That was indeed the problem.
Love it! Our tree arrived packaged well, fluffed out beautifully, the lights look great even by my boyfriend’s standards, and it’s fantastic in our 15’ (at the windows) by 21’ (at the center) tall great room. We agonized over our tree decision, and this one has lived up to all that we wanted but weren’t sure we’d find. One my personal favorite features is the variety of light settings I’m a classic white light gal with a guy who must have multicolored lights. We’ve changed the lights around at times, but both gravitate toward the “compromise” color in the photos. It’s a win!
This was probably my worst experience of anything I've bought for Christmas. First off, when we received it the thing was a tangled mess. You couldn't even expand the branches because it was so tangled. Then after an hour or two of untangling there were lights that didn't work. We had to try and track it down, but after several more hours we just gave up. My father, brother, and I have spent a lot of time doing Christmas decorations so we aren't beginners on putting up trees or doing lights. We tried to run to the store to get a tester, but they were out. For spending this amount of money on a tree I would have even thought a tester would have come with it. If you look at the pics you will see big areas with no lights lit. Overall, really bad experience and I highly recommend not purchasing.
[Rewarded Review] Fluffy, full, and realistic
This is a beautiful tree - I am so happy with the quality as it definitely meets its value. When fully fluffed, the tree looks incredibly full and it is a very exciting addition to the holidays this year. The light settings have great variation and are beautiful in their own ways. I do wish this tree came with a remote - only flaw. Highly recommend this tree!
I wanted to cry when I first removed the tree from the box. It had lots of wires hanging from sad little branches, I thought no way this tree fluffs out. I’m so glad to say I was wrong. While it took me 2 hours to fluff this tree- it was worth it. The tree is beautiful and very full when fluffed properly. The lights look great. You do need to wear gloves and long sleeves when putting this up- it is very scratchy.
The branches do not have the same amount of garland on them, if they were all like the thicker ones, the tree would fluff and fill in better. They are very scratchy and if you don't wear gloves your hands are scratched and poked and red when you're done. The lights were put on poorly. The light wires hang down and look like a mixed up mess, They look like a 5 year old put them on. The tree is definitely not worth the retail price of $1311. If we would not have purchased at the price we got it for I would want to send it back. Once it is fluffed and decorated it is a nice looking tree.
This tree is really pretty and easy to assemble. It’s very sturdy and “full”. It has several different patterns (my wife especially likes the pastel colors on the ‘twinkling’ setting)
Awesome Tree!
We bought this tree after last season and just now put it up for the first time. My wife and I love it! Plenty of lights and we love the different options with the lights (especially the mode where it switches from white to colors and back since my wife likes white and I like the colors, it was our way of compromising). Yes it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree when you first get it out, but it looks really nice and full once you start fluffy the branches open, especially the interior limbs. I still need to straighten out the top, I haven't brought my ladder in yet but I wanted to give an idea of how it looks once fluffed out. The daylight picture of the lights doesn't do it justice either, the lights are so bright at night and looks amazing.
This was our first year having an artificial tree. This tree was beautiful. It wasn't difficult to fluff, just takes some time due to the size of the tree. Make sure you wear some cheap gloves. We did have to bend all the lower branches because they were dragging on the floor. The different color light options is nice. My only complaint is that the colored lights are the LED colors, not like traditional multicolor lights. We ended up keeping the lights set to the white because of this.
Beautiful tree. NO INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL. There's a foot pedal with apparently ten functions and NO MANUAL to describe what they do. The only way I was able to put the tree together is because my daughter has a similar one and sent me a link to some instructions, which were incomplete anyway. The instructions described that it could be one of four styles. I looked at Birch Lane website, and NO WHERE did it say what style I had. It was just shooting in the dark putting the electrical together. Why can't you send paperwork describing how the foot pedal works??? Lame.
Much Better Than Expected
I have to admit that purchasing an artificial tree is something that I hesitate to do online without seeing the product myself. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the product once it arrived. I put it together yesterday. Probably took between 4 - 5 hours to do so. It is not a quick and easy process, but if you do it per the video that is provided, it is one of the nicest looking trees that I have ever seen. It is nice that the lights change color if you want them to, but the white lights in the twinkle mode is our favorite. This really looks very real!
Beautiful tree! Dual colored lights, with multiple functions, full and holds ornaments well. Took a couple of hours to fluff up all the branches, but I did it by myself. Was totally worth it. Sturdy stand and shipping was fast. They kept me informed via email with tracking number and updates. First ever artificial tree for our family, but have already gotten tons of compliments from friends and family. Great deal on cyber week for a tree this size and shipping was free. Glad I went with wayfair on this one. You will not be disappointed! Happy Holidays and thanks again.
This tree is better than I had imagined. Was it easy to set up? Yes, it came in 5 parts: the base and 4 sections of stackable branches. The actual process of putting it together was a piece of cake abd very straight forward. However the process of plumping the tree was very time consuming. If you want the tree to look as nice as possible the reality is you will need to touch, plump, and set the branches as you wish them to be. Was the tree well made? Yes! It is very heavy, sturdy, and looks magnificent. I have received endless compliments on it already. A bonus I didn't even pay much mind to when ordering is how many light setting options there are. Everything you could hope for. I truly cannot say enough good things about this tree. If you're debating getting it and are on the fence, the answer is yes! I have 15' ceilings and this 10' tree is perfect. Get it!
The quality of this tree is second to none. Very real looking and quite majestic. The 10 feet was perfect as far as manageability and the dual lights and options available are a great feature. You can change the look at any time. As with other items I’ve purchased from Wayfair, the price is unbeatable. I’d buy this one again without hesitation. It arrived quickly and was brought directly to the front porch, which meant climbing a hill, so that in itself is worth an extra star!! Highly recommend this brand tree
It's tough to buy a Christmas tree online since it's hard to determine how realistic it would look once set up. I was hesitant when I opened the box, but decided to give it a shot since it was a good price. After 3 or 4 hours of fluffing, this tree looks amazing! I am so happy with the final outcome. There are more lights on this tree than other 10 foot trees I was looking at, and the option to change colors is a bonus. This is HEAVY- so just be prepared. It is also big and will need to get stored somewhere eventually. I 100% recommend this tree as long as you know the weight/fluff/storage issues.

My husband and I bought this tree three years ago and we have loved it from the day we put it up. The tree is so beatiful that it is hard to realize it isn't real. Seriously, you forget that it isn't a real tree, even when you're decorating it, because it is that realistic. When it comes out of the box it will need to be fluffed up each year. It comes in 3 pieces, hook the electric together and your tree slides right into the stand and you're ready to plug it in and start decorating.

Three steps backward from the one I gave away. There’s nothing natural about this tree. It was very difficult to “fluff” out, painful as well as the metal branches and tips are super scratchy. It arrived totally compressed and I had to wear gloves to try to bend out the tips of the flattened boughs and could not even come close to making them look natural. The center pole cannot be disguised as there are not enough tips to fluff up and hide it. The steel branches that connect to the center pole cannot be hidden for the same reason. My previous tree lights were powered simply by adding the next section of tree to the pole. This tree uses plugs for each section, awkward to arrange. Several bulbs were out, I used up all the extras sent and still have bulbs out. I gave my old tree to a family member, I wasn’t thrilled with its darker shading and wanted one more natural, but the color of this one is the only thing about it that is acceptable. This tree looks nothing like the tree in their pictures, especially at the tips. I let friends talk me into assembling and decorating this, even though I was so disappointed with what came out of the box and trying to flatten it back out to fit it into the box to return it was beyond my capabilities. Just wish I had gone to the store to pick out my tree, it would have saved me the $300+ I spent, because I would never have bought this one! Guess I’ll chalk it up to a lesson learned
It is passable
I guess I have been spoiled over the years with really good quality trees in this price point, This tree is okay. It takes an extraordinary amount of time to fluff because the manufacturer for some weird reason chose to not take the "needles" all the way to the end of the branches, so the tree in very bare inside. To hide all of the holes, took lots of effort and creativity. I have never seen a tree so bare on the inner branches. If it weren't so expensive and a hassle to ship back, I would do it and spend the extra money on a different brand that I had two great trees from. I will get through this season with this. Thank God for ornaments and garland. Sadly, the ornaments took longer because they pulled down the branches requiring me to re-fluff the bare spots and be creative with ornament placement. Overall, the tree looks better then most at this price point, but I think that for this price point, the manufacturer could have at least had not left such bare metal branches. The choice of lights are the only saving grace at this point. We can change them depending on which family member is home. I think the different modes are more annoying than cool. A slow chasing light would be more pleasant to watch, but that is all personal preference. I think this is much better than the plastic trees, although they look much fuller and don't have bare spots, so it just depends on what you are looking for. I don't think this tree was worth what it costs, but I guess I need to spend more next time.
