VERY low airflow

it is rated at 110 CFM, not that I can tell. it fails the tissue test. I even took the cover off and there was so little air draw a tissue was not pulled at all. I went into the attic and checked the hose thinking maybe it was somehow blocked. Nope, hose was clear. This unit pulls very little air.

Great addition to any bathroom

Great fan, easy install, quiet, power, fantastic light. I have installed 4 of these on different projects through the years, always the right choice. Mitigates moisture from showers like a champ!

I am happy with this fan so far. The light is plenty bright and fan does its job. The description says 1.0 sones but I have a Panasonic fan in another bathroom rated at 1.0 and it is far quieter. But the Broan is not terrible.

Loud fan

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I can hear this fan running from two rooms away... Definitely not quiet. Install and assembly were easy enough, so I don't know how that would affected the noise level. Perhaps the housing is too "tinny" for the power of the fan.

I installed this new fan about a month ago. It is quiet and higher a higher CFM than the one I replaced. The installation was easy and entirely from within the bathroom. No attic access required.The only additional thing I need was a short spool piece of 4" round duct because there was not enough play in the flexible metal duct that was there to make the connection without attic access. Otherwise the installation was straight forward per the instructions. Very pleased and would definitely recommend it.

I was pleased it did not come with lighting alreadd in place. I like to choose the wattage and type of light. A very good product for a very good price.

Would have gave 5 stars, but like previous reviews the LED light makes noise with a dimmer. It is not too much for me but the fan is quieter than the light. Also, the dimmer is a must, because the light has a punch.I have seen reviews complain about not being a perfect fit, that is why it is a retro fit. Replacing an old fan or box that has been there for 26 years, it probably wont fit.Was surprise how easy it was to install

Almost identical to Nutone, but slightly higher cfm capacity. Easy to install; well as easy as replacing existing fans can be. I would have liked it to have a slightly larger cover. I had to patch my ceiling about 1/4" on a couple sides. Others may not have this issue at all.

I had a 35 year old Broan exhaust fan in my small bathroom which had to be replaced. I called the Broan customer service number and told them the model number of my unit. They told me this unit would replace my old unit. I was dreading going into the attic in June to put the new one in but this model is totally installed in the house. I had to make a little larger opening and if you plan it right, the electrical conduit matches perfectly to the new unit. I will purchase the same model next year when I replace my other bathroom's vent.

The fan is quiet - not noiseless, but quiet. The light is good. Everything is as you would expect with a Broan fan. Installation was not problematic. Have a properly sized romex connector on hand. Suggest screwing up thru the top for adequate support, tho.

Very quiet and the fluorescent light is bright

I did a previous review of this fan and gave it a 3 star rating because I found it difficult to install for two reasons: 1) hard to get up into opening due to mounting wings 2) sags once installed due to cantilevered mounting system. I had to install a wood brace above the fan and screw into that brace to properly secure the fan frame.

Bright light & quiet

Bought this to replace & relocate 28 yo Broan bathroom fan. Moved this one directly over shower. I would give this a higher rating, but the fact that it mounts to only one side of a joist left the other side drooping and dangling by at least 1/2". I had to install a cross brace above the fan spanning two ceiling joists and then put screws up through the top of the metal fan housing into the brace. This gave it enough support.
