Very nice skillet

I have an extensive collection of cast iron cookware. My husband could not believe I bought more. We usually prefer older well seasoned pieces. This pan is exceptional! Very smooth, and love the lid. He agreed it was a great purchase, may be our new favor

We immediately went tent camping for two days after receiving this skillet. It is AMAZING!! All of our food (eggs, hash browns, vegetables, steak, chicken, etc.) was cooked to absolute perfection. We'll never have to invest in a different cast iron skillet ever. Thank you!!!

Good Cast Iron Skillet

This was my first Cast Iron Skillet, I would have preferred better instructions with the skillet, rather than having to go online. I get easily distracted and didn't see how to care for my skillet until a week after doing it completely wrong. I'm hoping I didn't cause any issues with the way I cleaned it.

i love it, so much that i don't want to use it-get it dirty! its awesome looking and the lid is second to none.ill start using it pretty soon.im a user collector, have 50 or more cast iron skillet's and pans. i also bought your grill/pan-its weird looking but so far its worked great.i ben trying to c if it will warp but no it hasnt iits 12 inches my lectric stove burners are normal like 10 so this pan hangs over however it works great.just need to let it warm up before use.so far lots of pancakes ,hot dogs,french toast,hamburgers,suasage.eggs bacon

[Rewarded Review] Disappointing

I have only used this on the stove top so far, campfire cooking may prove it to be more useful. The pan has a nice thick bottom but thin walls. The pour spots are okay but I would appreciate them being a bit bigger so you could regulate the air flow better with the top. The assist handle is also very undersized. The factory seasoning was not very effective and I have yet to build up a good non-stick surface after about 10 uses. The top is good except for the handle, which frankly sucks. The only way to use it is with tongs since the wire sits too flat and can’t be grabbed with a pot holder. At the very least they should add a small metal ring or bump around the current one so it would lift it up a bit and create the ability to grab the handle with a pot holder. As it is, this is impossible. Including a silicone piece that could be removed when needed would be superior and add a star to the review.

Amazing skillet

Right out of the box it is non stick. Cooked fried and scrambled eggs, all I used was a little butter and they slid around the pan better than any teflon I have ever used.

Christmas gift

Packaged nicely. Arrived on time. Attractive. A Christmas gift unused at this writing. Would have preferred an 8 inch (hint, hint!) Hope to get lots of use just the same.
