Amazing dutch oven

I thought we'd be braising pot roast dinners more, but my wife uses it to make sour dough bread every other day. She loves it, but hated our previous cast iron dutch oven.

Game changer!

I had a similar pan from another company. I bought this one for our camping trailer. It has become my main Dutch oven, and goes on the road as well! It’s perfectly sized and cleans up well. It really is nonstick. I will be purchasing another Field cast iron pan.

The perfect size for two people

The vintage look but modern feel makes this Dutch oven work so well with numerous dishes. The 5-quart size is perfect for two people with enough room for leftovers. I love my Field Company cast iron.

Great little Dutch Oven!

Love this piece of cast iron goodness! The size is perfect for 3-4 people. Fit and finish is typical Field Company . Smooth enough to clean easily, but textured enough to take seasoning well. So far, we have made homemade French fries, pop corn and our favorite venison chili recipe with fire roasted tomatoes, pumpkin and cinnamon. Pairs well with the No. 8 Field skillet as the lid fits both.

No. 10 (Seconds Sale)

I am now 2 pot roasts and multiple boules deep into my No. 10 that I got at the seconds sale. Arrived in beautiful condition and I would have never known that it was a second. Great companion to my No. 10 skillet and I will continue to buy Field so I can pass a lil something down to my grandkids someday.

D/O is awesome and fun to use, but the price point is ridiculous. Love field products but you can find same products for way cheaper

great and lightweight

I gave away my old Dutch Oven because it was way too heavy for me to use safely. This is perfect for two of us, roast chicken, chili and even cooking burgers in it to help alleviate the oil spray on the cooktop. Love it

Not my cup of tea

Well built, but trying to maintain a seasoned dutch oven is a pain compared to a simple skillet or griddle. I just decided to return mine. I LOVE their other cast iron items. If I had a grill I might have more use for a seasoned dutch oven, but an enameled is a better fit for me.

Cook culture were very helpful in the purchase of my Field Dutch Oven and No 10 Skillet. When I ordered the wrong size there were no issues in replacing it with the correct size.

This dutch oven is a great all around size, I love how light weight it is compared to other brands, the finish is really nice smooth which makes for a great cooking surface, I will always buy field company and if you can afford it I would highly recommend it.

I really love my Field

I really love my Field Company Dutch Oven. The first thing I cooked in it was braised beef ribs and potatoes. They came out amazing, they were so good! The fit and finish is impeccable. It is very sturdy and the weight is just right. It's not too heavy and not too light. The size is perfect for me too. I would rather have two than have a giant sized one. So far I have used it on induction, electric glass top, and in the oven. Induction and in the oven are my preferred heat sources. Overall Field did and awesome job on this and I will continue using My Field Dutch Iven for many decades to come. Thanks Field Company.
