Trash can came damaged. Ironic that I ordered two similar to this 3 years ago and one became damaged. I literally took this one out of box this morning right before leaving for work. I took the box out as today is my trash day. Came home from work to find the can dented, scratched and the automatic lid that takes 4 C batteries does not even work. Tried numerous batteries.
Not that good
The sensor on this trashcan is horrible. You can walk beside it and it opens. I have to keep it turned backwards so it don’t open every time I walk by and run the battery down.
It’s ok nothing special, you have to be within half an inch for it to open so I have to just take the lid off if I’m using it a lot
You keep sending me the same garbage can!!!You have sent me three!!

Actually, all I wanted was one that would raise up and stay up. So I don't use the batteries. It works fine that way. I just flick it up and then it will go back down. I didn't realize it was that automated or I would not have bought it.
