The pipe metal is pretty thin. It did work for my project, and is holding up a 2.5 pound Waterpik dual shower head, but I'm nervous every time I reach up to turn the diverter knob for the shower heads. I feel like one little slip and the pipe will bend in half. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

The walls of the pipe are so thin that they bent or caved in while tightening the pipe. It is basically cheap plated tubing. The quality is so bad that Home Depot should discontinue selling this product. Pitiful & pathetic product.

Love the Price

After recovering form sticker shock at the cost of the shower arm from the manufacturer of our selected shower head, I decided to search for a more affordable option with the same look. That’s when I came across this one. I was worried the finish wouldn’t be as nice (our fixtures are chrome) but I had nothing to worry about. We finished our bath remodel 21/2 years ago and I feel I made a smart choice. The chrome finish is beautiful and it’s sturdy. Don’t pay for the overpriced brands.

Very good, but I would not use the pipe wall cover, it’s so tight around the pipe it scratched the pipe pushing it flush to the wall. I used the one that came with the shower faucet kit.

This is great looking shower arm that was extremely easy to install. It came with a flange and even more surprising, teflon tape. I read other reviews about the durability of this arm, but I had absolutely no issues. I used this to convert a normal shower head to a rain shower. Everything works perfectly and I would recommend this over a more expensive arm. The 15 inch length was a perfect fit for my shower.

as part of a renovation we raised the height of the shower arm. the extended length gave us more of a rainshower feel without having to route plumbing into the ceiling.

Finally a long arm for my rain shower head. I've looked everywhere and couldn't find anything long enough. My next option would've been to run piping into my roof over the tub. This gives sufficient length and reach and works well. Finish is good, not great, but does the job.
