I have 2 - one in office 1 at my WFH office

A bit of work to install, but very strong, versatile and easy to adjust. Compliments my Herman Miller Areon chair!

I got a small desk with a built in keyboard drawer. The keyboard drawer has a small raised lip and my current wrist rest was too low for it. This fits the bill and is more comfortable than the others we have.

A good buy

Today is my first day using the keyboard and mouse tray. It's a nice feature being able to adjust the keyboard tray separate from the mouse tray. The mouse tray was very tricky to get it to adjust correctly. It wanted to tilt - even though I had tightened the lever underneath - but after about 10 minutes of messing with it, I must have done something right because now the lever works to keep the mouse tray from tilting. It is a bit annoying to have to use the knob every time I need to put the keyboard underneath my desk. But I can deal with it

High quality keyboards like Das Keyboard, or any keyboard with a height of 1/2" or more get NO benefit from this wrist pad. A buyer with a typical thin cheap keyboard or Mac keyboard might be satisfied. The quality appears to be very good and it is quite soft, and that is a good thing. I can't speak to is durability.

Some things I like, some things I don't like

I did not install the keyboard tray; my corporate maintenance department handled the installation. When they installed it on my desk per the instructions, the keyboard tray did not push all the way back under the desk. They had to install it 2 or more inches back from the front edge in order for the tray to be pushed all the way back under the desk. This intallation limited how far up I can bring the tray, but not by much. Also, I must untighten and retighten the knob under the tray to get it to move. So in the morning, I have to untighten the knob, bring the tray into position, then retighten the knob to secure it in position. Other trays I have used can be moved around without untightening/tightening a knob. The mouse pad can be adjusted separate from the keyboard. There is a lever underneath the mouse pad but apparently it serves no purpose, but once you get the mouse pad set where you like it there may be no reason for you to adjust it.

More adjustable than I want

I've been using mine at work for a couple of years. It was installed by our mechanical services dept., so no problems with that. It slides in and out from under my desk, just like it's supposed to, and has mostly held up just fine.

I have an older sliding keyboard tray from 3M, model AKT200SL. It had a built-in wrist rest that was gel with a soft cover. Over time, the cover wore out and the gel was exposed and my hands would get slightly sticky where they contacted the gel bits. I could not get a real replacement for the wrist rest, so I took a chance and bought this. I had to take out the little plastic tray the old wrist rest was attached to (which was easy, it simply sits in a depression in the keyboard tray). This new wrist rest is too small to simply pop into the keyboard tray where the old one was. Instead, I needed to put this new one into the plastic tray where the old gel was. To remove the old cover and gel from the plastic holder, I used a putty knife to pry up the cover and pull it off and scrape the gel out. That worked fairly well, and some mineral spirits on a rag worked very well to remove the gel residue. This new wrist rest fits OK in the plastic tray--it sticks up a bit, not seating all the way down into the tray but when it is wedged in, it seems to stay just fine. The whole thing pops back into my keyboard tray perfectly. The new wrist rest is at a good height over my keyboard even though it sits up a bit higher, and I've had no problems with it falling out or shifting around. It is very comfortable and the leather-like covering is good and seems like it might hold up better than my old one. My only other choice would have been to replace the whole keyboard tray, so I am very happy that this wrist rest is working as a replacement.

I just received this wrist rest 2 minutes ago and am typing this review while using it. The first thing I noticed was the quality. This feels so much nicer than the foam rests they sell at Office Depot, Staples, and the like. The gel feels really soft (but not too soft) and the leatherette feels very nice as well. It has good weight to it and doesn't feel like it will move at all - even before taking the plastic off the tacky bottom surface. It is also nice and deep, basically as deep as four rows on a keyboard. My last one was probably three rows maximum. The only complaint I will note is that it is shorter than my previous wrist rest. I can feel a difference in the height and believe my old, taller one was a little better in that respect. However, it does not feel as though my wrists are angled up at all, which is my main reason for using a wrist rest. If they made it 1/4" taller, it would be perfect. Hopefully this will last me quite a while!
