For $55 It should include the blade. Unfortunately I didn’t realize this when shopping (the store was a ZOO,) and I’m an hour away. Now I get to mask the old fashioned way!

I can remember when you used to be able to buy it as one piece now they sell everything separately which is just ridiculous

Absolute waste of money

Does not function close to what it in theory should do. Tape and film constantly skew regardless of adjustment And before you know it, you have one hot mess. By the time you buy everything you need, you are over $100. Do not get caught in this trap. Buy a plastic cover roll and some tape for less than $20

Works great and easy to use - saved me so much time. You will need to purchase the blade for paper/plastic rolls - don't overpay for this piece (blade) but it is essential if you ask me. Tape applies to roll goods easily and easy to load. Love it.

These make the job of masking easy!

The downside is that you need to buy the cutting blade. It should come with the masker.

This is a high quality tool for professional painters. I do not recommend for DIY painters. I watched several youtube videos on its operation. I still could not use the tool effectively. My problems:

Doesn't come as pictured with the roll holder attached (FB12-SC). Be cautious as Home Depot does sell a FB12 fill blade, but it doesn't have the holder on it like the SB12-SC. The roll of paper comes off of the small roller without the FB12-SC and you end up cutting everything off and starting over. Once you get the FB12-SC, it works great. Just disappointed that it didn't come ready to use, and the suggested item by home depot recommends isn't really the right part you need to get the job done. I generally expect more from Home Depot than this.

the metal tear off blade was missing. We did not notice until after buying it. Otherwise it would have worked great
