Even better than I imagined it would be. So much more powerful than the old hood we had. And the smoke alarm doesn’t go on anymore when I cook. Usually I only use it on level 1 or 2 because it is so powerful. On level four you need to open a window or door because this thing moves some significant volume of air. Installation was easy with help of some cabinet joists I bought. It also looks nice. The only negative might be that it is pretty loud, especially at higher levels.

wanted a bit powerful hood, and this is the one with high power. bit noisy because of that too. we run on low speed so noise level stays at comfort. runs great. if use on speed 4, truly no smell in kitchen. assembling and installation was easy. leaves little gap on sides about 0.5 in combined. hoped it would be perfect fit. not picky about it but thought to mention. Unit is 0.5inch smaller than 36" width.

Great good! Super powerful, couple flaws

I installed this hood and added venting to the roof. Everything went smooth, used 3 1/4in x 10in ducting to attic and then transitioned to 6in round to the roof gooseneck. This thing definitely moves some air and looks good doing it. Couple things that I found, the draft damper that comes with the hood is trash and rattles like crazy. I removed it because my roof vent has a damper. Also the fans are placed to the very back of the hood so it struggles to extract smoke when using the front burners on the stove. Other than that I think this hood is great.
