Wish I had purchased it sooner!

I purchased this fan at Lowe’s and had it shipped. It was easy to install and looks great. After a month of use and daily cooking I can say it is worth all 5 stars. The fan is pretty loud on the highest setting but it moves the air like a champ so you don’t have to have it full blast for long. I only use the high setting when doing high heat searing on steaks or items post sous vide.

This a solid exhaust fan with dual fans and great suction. The controls are very sensitive, every time I clean/wipe the fan the touch buttons get activated. It's not a big deal but annoying to have to turn the light off or fan off while cleaning the hood.

Solid hood for the money

This is the only hood that had a 10x3.25" direct duct attachment. Ideally you'll need 2 people to install this but its possible to DIY. Highly recommend getting something like a Milwaukee Bit extender (Home Depot Internet #319035002, Model #48-28-1040-48-28-1030, UPC Code #888234585377) since the mount points are more than 4" deep and reach from a standard bit length will not allow you drive your hardware all the way in. I paired this hood with a Broan SP3004 Stainless steel backsplash.

I am 50/50 on this product. The price was high and heavy. The good part is that they will call and text you non stop asking your opinion on the product. The little remote that comes with the product is cool to have but not necessary at all. The fan gets VERY loud since there are two heavy duty ones. If you don't mind the high noise, you should be fine.

Works very well, looks great

Definitely need 2 people to install this. I normally use the lowest setting and it works very well. Recently did some steamy, smelly cooking, and on the 3rd setting it did an impressive job of keeping the steam and smell out of the rest of the house. The lowest 2 settings are not real quiet, but you can easily hold a conversation while it's on. Top 2 settings are noisier, you have to speak louder than normal if you're trying to hold a conversation while cooking, but any good vent is like that.

Works so much better than what we had. I used it on the 3rd setting while cooking cabbage, and it kept the smell out of the rest of the house. 1st 2 settings aren't quiet, but you can easily hold a conversation while cooking. the top 2 settings are loud enough that you have to speak louder than normal, but this is true with any went. Definitely need 2 people to install.

Great addition to new kitchen

Look at a lot of different range hoods. I was impressed by the quality and performance of this hood. Looks greats and works even better. Would recommend it. The only flaw, if you want to call it that, is that it is slightly less than 30 inches wide. Less than an 1/8" gap on either side.

Great

After researching many brands and features, I decided on this model because it had high air flow (500 CFM) and was less expensive than others with this much air flow. Blower works well and is fairly quiet on low speed. Does a good job venting out cooking smells. The lights and touch buttons are great. Installation was straightforward, but the directions were very small and the diagrams weren't clear enough to show which screws go where. It comes with hardware and various shape vent adapters

Amazing -- drastically improved our kitchen

This range hood has made such an amazing difference in our kitchen we could not be happier. We had a very ineffective microwave with a vent built in, and we could see the steam and grease of everything we cooked blowing up in front of it and dissipate in the kitchen (and stick to the front of our microwave) instead of being sucked in. We got a counter microwave so that we could buy this under cabinet range hood and are so thrilled by the quality. Even on the lowest of four settings it pulls way better than our previous. Before when we would make soup we found condensation in the Tupperware in the cabinet next to our stove and the cardboard boxes in the cabinet above the stove were damp. This has done such an amazing job of pulling all that steam that we no longer have these problems. Frying or using a grill pan was also a huge issue for us as our entire kitchen would fill with smoke, enough that it would move down the hall and set off 3 of our smoke detectors. Now with this range on setting 3 of 4 our kitchen remains perfectly smokeless. We haven’t had to use the highest setting as it has been so powerful and effective. We truly LOVE IT.

So far so good. Lost a star because the clock doesn't stay lit up automatically. It has to be "on" for it to be lit. Otherwise, it goes dim. I had in my head that it would be quieter than the 20 -30 year old one that was here but not really. It seems to be just as noisy on first level. It looks amazing with my stove.

Great product

I previously had a cheaper exhaust which was of no use since it was circulating air in the kitchen itself. I decided to invest in this product and have no regrets even though it is expensive. It is a bit noisy but does the job well. Product build is solid and well designed.

Range Hood Review

I ordered this range hood, first for its dimensions as it would fit my current space without changing any of the tile backsplash, and secondly for the CFM. I am very pleased with my order. It arrived quickly. I hired someone to install it so I cannot review the difficulty of install but I have been very pleased with the working product. It significantly cuts down on the steam and cooking smells when I cook. The light is nice and bright. And the best feature is the timed fan turn off - I will set it to continue for 10-15 minutes after I finish cooking and it turns off on its own - I don't have to come back and turn it off later. I would definitely recommend!

This Hood is Not 30-in Wide

I'm not sure how a company doesn't know the dimensions of their own product, but despite the width being listed as 30 inches on Lowes (with info supplied by the company), on the company's own web site, and in the manual included in the box, the product is actually 29.5 inches wide.

A challenging install—but I love it!

This literally took us days to install. Directions were not really clear at all (the first hurdle was just figuring out what all the parts were for) and I’d have killed for an installation video. I had purposely purchased this one rather than a competitor’s because it was supposedly easier to install, but this was just as difficult for the same reason—the holes for screws were in accessible with average hand tools, particularly while trying to hold a heavy unit in place. In the end, we ditched the screws provided in favor of a much more solid installation with bolts and nuts—and that was really difficult too, but the end result felt safer and more secure. So—we don’t think this is really a DIY project, but better left to the professionals with a wider array of tools. This one was a real marriage-tester.

Looks great, works great. Immediately improved the look of our kitchen. It took 2 of us to install it. We had to convert our hardwire to plug in. Everything turned out great. Suction works great. LED lights are ample. The remote control was a nice touch.
