Fantastic 48” Island Vent Hood !!!

I bought the 48” island vent hood to install above my grill located in my screened porch. The installation was super easy and all necessary parts & screws were included in the package! The unit works fine…excellent draft and love the LED lights. Highly recommended.

Nothing but headaches!

I bought this ZLINE island range hood and had it professionally installed five years ago. Within six months, the lights started flashing. I was told it was a bad circuit board. Sure, ZLINE sent me a new one, no charge... BUT I had to pay an electrician $200 to install the new board. Last spring, the lights went out completely, so I replaced all four bulbs. Now three months later, the circuit board is out again! If you want a very expensive range hood that is guaranteed to last you six months, ZLINE is for you. Otherwise, keep looking.

Poor Customer Service

I purchased an outdoor vent for my grill plus extra pieces as recommended by the them for the height of my ceiling, however, it turned out that i really didn't need them as their information was not clear and even though my ceiling height was as noted in their reomendations. I called three times to talk with customer service, one time i waited over 50 minutes to no avail. Everytime I requested a call back as well, but they never did. I want to return the unopened box of extensions but cannot because of the poor customer service.

Good Product - Not so good customer service.

I bought this Zline hood for a rental property and am quite happy with the product. What I’m not entirely happy about was the customer service. I bought the items and Sheryl after it went on sale for a pretty good discount. I was in touch with customer service twice to see if I could obtain a price adjustment or at minimum a small discount. I was never even responded to.

Beautiful Zline product workmanship need attention

1- The Rangehood store: the buying process with The Rangehood store is friendly, service is quick to answer my questions on the CA sale tax and FedX Freight shipping. It is 3 stars rating because the calculation of CA is confusing and label on the FedXFreight is not accurate on the chimney.

Excellent hood but not for 8ft ceiling

The hood is beautiful and works wonderfully. We installed it ourselves and the instructions were clear.

Very Slick Looking!

Just had the hood installed last Tuesday, but the grill is not hoojed up yet so really havent used hood to see how it works. It is sleek looking and doesnt dominate our small outdoor kitchen area, which is what we we wanted. The fan does seem quite loud though even on a '1' setting so a little disappointed about that. We had looked at another hood with style design and they touted a very quiet fan, but they were out of stock so we'll never know. Once grill installed and we use our sear zone, we'll see what kind of job it does.

Received Damaged!!!!

BUT!!!!,,,,I immediately called them, they told me to take a picture of the damaged area and send it to them, so I did, and in a few days the second shipment arrived in excellent condition. It truly was no hassle. They shipped at no extra cost and the hood looks fantastic. As a matter of fact, I used it as a non-island hood. It also works best when the back hurricane shutter is down so no wind can come though. They also told me to dispose the first one as I wish. I now have vital extra parts. I'm no expert, but this shit is awesome, and I highly recommend ZLine 597i Outdoor Series Hood from Home Outlet Direct, which they were very easy to communicate with.

Here is what makes remodeling a nightmare

Unit was successfully installed by contractor. Directions were lacking. After installation we discovered lights on unit do not work. Contacted manufacturer. LOTS of hoops to jump through. Transformer for lights is only accessible from attic space. Manufacturer does not know if I have dimmable lights or not even after providing serial number. They do not know date of manufacture either. When asked how to find transformer for lights I was send link to unprofessional u-tube video on general installation only. Contractor wants to charge me to uninstall and reinstall unit when new transformer arrives. Company does not cover labor on warranty, even if new installation. This is a huge delay and nightmare!

I love love love this range hood. Its great quality, solid and very well made. I will be using it with my all white cabinets, white countertops and stainless appliances. I chose this because its eye catching,and different enough that I know I wont see it in anyone elses kitchen.

Slick Range Hood!!

Just got this hood for my kitchen remodel. The Finish is beautiful!! Powerful fan motor, yet quiet. Easy to assemble and mount. Shipping was super quick too.

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Handsome at distance.... but

Just finished getting this installed. Product seems decently sturdy, and it really looks good except for several spots when inspected up close. Two scuffs and a few specks that appear to be under the poly finish on the butcher block, a ding on one corner, and some spots where they inexplicably used a dark filler for some spots where the butcher block didn't align perfectly at glue-up. The quality of the butcher block wrap is... poor, and it's the main feature of this range hood.
