Everything I expected - Excellent Hunter quality

Excellent packaging. All parts provided and packaged neatly. Easy to follow instructions. The fan looks and performs great! Love it! We already plan to but another fan for our living room - It will be a Hunter.

My contractor asked for all my lighting order details. Love! I was previously using lighting fixtures from when I purchased my place almost twenty years ago and the previous owner had the apt from in the 70s. It was definitely time for a renovation!

Lights Dimming is Weird

Great product, however, I am disappointed in the light diming. It only has two settings: Bright & 1/2 Dim. I expected full dimming. A replacement controller is on its way to fix this issue. Hope it changes the dimming. Great support!

I suspect most of my concerns could be addressed if HUNTER answered their customer service line.

Remote Not Diming Lights

contacted hunter fans. There instructions are not specific. Not easy to use remote. Very disappointed in remote. I've tried multiple ways to dim the lights, instead the fan changes speed. Great quiet fan. Love the looks but Hunter needs a remote thatis more specific on commands. The fan speed seems to be variable instead of low and high. Changing to reverse speed is not working either. It seems to change on its own after shutting it off and back on.

Contractor said the fan was easy to install. I love having the remote to avoid the pull strings. Puts off a great amount of air. Looks really nice. Bought these for two bedrooms and will purchase another for office.

Excellent little fan. I installed it myself in a 10x10 guest bedroom. Nice aesthetic. We're using the grey oak sides of the 2-tone fan blades. I'll buy more Hunter ceiling fans for our other rooms. The 3 included bulbs have a warm tone. One didn't work out of the box, but Hunter quickly sent a replacement.

Cute fan. I bought for my guest room. Only complaint is the remote is not the most responsive. Sometimes I have to hit the light button a few times to turn on the light but I like that the remote can be mounted to the wall with either screws or 3M removable tape.

meh, not the best hunter fan

Bought this fan about a month ago. We have 2 other Crestfield fans that are awesome (would recommend those). This unit, not so much. Installation was easy enough. However, the fan motor has a very noticeable hum which is not present on our 2 Crestfield fans. I would not buy this model again. Also, as on other review mentioned, the installation of the light mounting where you must get the fitting over a button and slide is not very easy. Overall, not the best Hunter fan.

Love this Ceiling Fan

The Hunter 44" Ceiling Fan was a great addition completing the farmhouse/coastal look we were going for our office/guest room. We used the lighter gray side of the fan. The install took about 2 hours, was a little more difficult than expected. For LED lights not as bright as was expected, but we can change to brighter bulbs if needed. Beautiful fan and very quiet. Love the remote.

Great Purchase

I bought the larger 52 inch fan for one of the rooms in my house, but it was too big for my low ceiling. I ended up buying this one for my room. This is a smaller version and works much better for my room. Airflow is great despite the smaller size. One of the blades won't screw on properly, but I was able to get replacement parts very quickly. Overstock is very responsive and helpful as usual! Overall, great purchase!

Excellent Fan From an Excellent Seller

We researched ceiling fans online and decided to purchase this 44" model. Also, researched sellers and found Capitol Lighting to be highly rated. Attempted to purchase online, but due to an error (totally on my part), the transaction failed. Called Capitol and spoke to Tyler, an extremely helpful and pleasant sales rep! Problem solved! The fan was delivered on time and ready to install. We are very pleased with the fan, Capitol Lighting and Tyler in particular! Highly recommend,,

Love the fan. Run the glass shades through the dishwasher asbefore you install the fan, though. Then handle the shades with gloves as you install them and the lightbulbs or they will be covered in fingerprints - very obvious and unappealing, but easily remedied, also good for regular cleaning. They looked amazing coming out of the DW but the limpidly clear glass was cloudy and dingy from the styrofoam packaging - absolutely no negative comment on manufacturing.

The fan has a great look to it and is very stylist. It was easy to assemble and hang. It is quiet and works well, having many features. The only draw back we have with the fan is that the light cannot be wired separately. You have to leave the switch on, and use the remote to turn the light off and on, as well as the fan. Once you get use to the remote, it is easy to use all the functions/features of the fan.

Tiny, but Mighty

What a great ceiling fan! Looks exactly as pictured, fits perfectly in a small room, it’s very powerful, and is wonderfully bright. For a 44” fan it performs just as well as a large 52” or 54”. I love the remote. It’s compact and is mountable. It’s perfect for vaulted ceilings. It’s speeds are great and I love the dimming of the lights. It was an easy install and totally worth the money. There are few 44” ceiling fans on the market and even fewer that come with a remote, AND would be good for a themed mountain home. For me, this one checked all the boxes.

Looks great, very quiet but the lights are too dim

We have just installed this over our breakfast table. I love the look of this fan - it’s modern and updated. It doesn’t look like the 1980’s fans that still seem to be the norm. It operates silently. I also like that it doesn’t have any dangling chains thanks to the remote. We mounted the remote near our kitchen light switches so it won’t get lost. I rated it 4 stars because the lights are very dim. This is our primary light source over our table and it’s hardly enough light to eat by. It’s about as bright as candle light. I’ve replaced the lights with 60w equivalent edison bulbs and it’s still dim. We are very disappointed in that aspect.

Good value. Nice looking, quiet, and feels like good quality parts. I like the bulb style but will change for a bit warmer. Not very bright but OK with me. Split second delay when I switch on light. Not a problem but hadn't encountered that with LED's before.

Very Disappointed

Bought this fan about a month ago. Installation was OK and once installed it looked great! However, a few hours later, the globe cracked and came crashing to the ground. This globe should NOT be made out of glass. It's a shame that there aren't any other options for the glass globe as I liked the look of the fan. Emailed Hunter Customer Service and they are now making me jump through hoops and asking for information that can't be provided unless the fan is taken down. I provided sales receipt, pictures of the box, and fan installed. Now I'm not getting any responses.
