Pros and Cons
Very nice tub...very deep. I removed the wall between the old tub and toilet, so I needed a tub that had a finished back end. However the drain/plug assembly doesn't completely seal when in the closed position causing water to drain slowly when it should be completely plugged. Also the drain "connects" to the house plumbing using a flimsy plastic hose much resembling that of a dishwasher or washing machine drain; this failed the first wet run. Luckily I was able to tie the drain into the existing plumbing using good old ABS adapters and glue.
This came well packaged without any dings or scratches. My husband and I carried it into the house and also installed it ourselves which was easy to do. We did not use the flexible hose in the package but attached a pipe directly down into the hole in the floor after leveling it. Beautiful tub!
Online order was flagged for fraud and the coupon I was using was rendered invalid as it is a one time use. HD would not renew coupon or give me another one to use.
Exceeded Expectations
There were no reviews when I bought this, so I wanted to leave one. We are renovating the bathroom in our 1910 home. The room is very long but only 51” wide. So we needed a tub short enough to fit. We got it installed and even though it’s only 47” long, this tub is very deep and spacious! It has well exceeded are expectations and looks really nice!
Perfect for a small bathroom.
This tub is just the right size for a small bathroom reno. It is good quality, and looks exactly like pictured online. It wouldn't be big enough for a very large person to soak in, or even a very tall person. It is perfect for what I need. I am remodeling and replacing a stall. This is so much sleeker and stylish than the stall. Even though it is longer, your line of sight is unobstructed, and makes the space appear larger. Great purchase at a decent price point! Thank you.
poor delivery service and boxing
the tub came wed not on thurs with a promise of a 30 min window with a phone call but instead the delivery people put in the water /sprinkler on no call or even ring my doorbell - the item is just in a box on a crate no styrofoam to protect the bottom where it got scratched up
