High quality stainless steel cookware piece. I’ve only used it a couple of times since I got it, but so far, it’s been quite a useful addition to my cookware.

Dutch Oven Dissapointment

Unfortunately the handles actually do heat up, when using this on an electric stovetop (even though its their signature to not increase temperature during cooking). The nonstick isn't as robust as I had anticipated. I was expecting more for the high cost. I do love the size of this pan though. Great for making pasta and soap dishes.

Nice pots

Really like my Viking pots. I purchased the triply as I have issues with my hands and weight. So far these post have been excellent.

Excellent Pan!

This is the second Viking pan I've purchased from Macy's. I bought it on sale and it was still pricey for my budget but the quality is worth it. This pan is solid but not too heavy. It's a little more narrow than my other pans, but taller, so it fits better on my narrow stove burners. Markers on the inside make it easy to measure liquids and the clear lid with vent hole helps to prevent boiling over. It heats evenly and cleans easily. Highly recommend!

Great Pot

I love this pot. I purchased it to replace a 4qt pot that has seen better days. I like the weight, size and the shape. I purchased this pot to boil pasta and make soups and stews. I am making plans to buy Viking pots.

American Quality

I was unfamiliar with this brand before I found it here. I am thrilled to find an American made product and thrilled to find it is the same, American quality I remember from when the US was a manufacturing country. As others have mentioned, it has a little heft to it because...quality. It's solid and substantial, unlike my other stainless steel cookware. I absolutely love it. I got a good product and some patriotic pride for one price. :>)

Heirloom beautiful, cleans easily, LOVE this pan!

LOVE IT! I recently switched all of our sauce pans, after 20 years and somewhat reluctantly lol, from non-stick to stainless steel. I called the company to verify: the Viking 3-ply contemporary line is not coated with ANYTHING. Just a plain stainless steel cooking surface. The pan cleans up like a dream--very easy--I was a bit worried when making the switch but have been pleasantly surprised. I actually don't usually like the look of stainless steel cookware, but the mirror finish and arched handle on this pan are really charming and have changed my tune entirely. It looks very nice on my stove/counter (I use it frequently). The weight is solid--no flimsy metal here, with excellent heat distribution. Viking knocked it out of the park with this one! I also bought their smaller 2 qt pan and their 8 qt stock pot and have been very pleased. These pans will last a lifetime, and are worth every penny.

Best Dutch oven

I love this dutch oven! I will definitely be purchasing more of the Viking cookware. Food cooks evenly and holds its temperature.

Viking is the Best

I love this Made In America 5.2 quart pot. I had first bought a cuisinart 5-quart pot before purchasing the Viking covered Dutch Oven. I brought it home and my husband said it was a piece of junk. It felt like it was made of tin. I returned it and found this Viking brand at Macy's. I made a pot of sauce with meatballs and sausages. There was no burnt sauce on bottom of pan. The lid has two tiny holes for steam to escape. I paid much more but remember the saying, "You Get What You Pay For!" I love me Viking Pot !!! Thank goodness I listened to my husband.

Super heavyweight pan. Excellent mid range size for boiling pasta. Lid is equally much heavier than other lids. Highly recommend. You get what you pay for here.
