Warranty is a JOKE!

Buyer Beware! Warranty can only be claimed if you kept your receipt! My motor stopped working after 10 years and my receipt can’t be read (a case of vanishing ink). Seems to me that the fact that I own a Hunter fan is evidence enough that I purchased it!!! If Hunter truly stood behind its products they would not require a receipt to honor their warranty. 🤔

My second Hunter fan of this design. My first is still running quiet after 5 years. My only criticism is that the screws came in several packages and were not clearly labeled for where they go and the directions did not clearly identify the screw size in the diagrams. A little trial and error was needed and the fan in now up and working great.

classic Hunter ceiling fan

I'm guessing this is Builder quality. it only has one slow speed even though there are three speeds available; very disappointing. I like it that it matches the other fan in the same room but the other fan that is much older goes three times as fast. major disappointment!

I have several Hunter fans and they are top quality. Very quiet. I highly recommend.

Squeaking wont stop

Really disappointed with the squeaky sound. Wakes me up every night.

Excellent product, installation was simple and easy. Product performed as advertised. Would purchase this fan again.

Good customer support

Had a bit of a problem with installation of this fan. The globe nut came attached but stripped on the light assembly rod. I had to use a small pipe wrench to break it free, and also use the same wrench to tighten the globe at final assembly. I was annoyed with the idea of needing the wrench to change the light bulbs in the future. So I contacted customer support via chat on the Hunter web page. After I sent proof of purchase, their customer rep had a new nut and light assembly on its way. The parts arrived within a week, I replaced the light assembly, and now the globe nut is finger tight and removable as I expected.

It's good, but not perfect.

Product came well protected and packaged. Once put together and installed, it runs quietly (main reason I bought it). However, the engineering behind the pull chain for fan speed leaves a lot to be desired. Try as I might, I cannot get the fan to change speeds with the chain due to the glass globe "pinching" the chain and prohibiting smooth operation. Once the globe is removed, the chain operates freely. No problem with the lights. I settled for a speed and that's where it will stay. I expected more from a Hunter.

Never received, Hunter Fan-Customer Service sucxxs

Ordered this fan. Lowe's says shipped, gave shipment to FedEx. FedEx says they never received shipment. Lowe's says FedEx will deliver this shipment to my house. Found out, Lowe's never shipped my order. I asked for a full refund & said it will take over 10 days.

I bought Hunter fans for my home around 6-7 years back, 5 fans all together

Had new ceiling fan installed to replace another Hunter ceiling fan/light that quit working. But when New unit wouldn’t work, hired an electrician to figure out problem which was connection of wiring that needed replacing, not the 15-yr old fan/light. But love this new fan/light with Remote! Just wish the switch on wall would turn on light also, but after 2 months, getting used to the remote which seems to take longer to activate every time!

Overall fan seems wonderful, love the color……I’m a little disappointed that the light and fan chains are so short. I had to order extensions to be able to reach. Seems a little short sighted to scrimp on this basic detail.

The fan and faucet were good choices. Ordering was easy. Delivery was quick and the materials were in great shape, no damage.

No stars the remote doesn’t work. Got a new remote & same problem. On high light strobes & dimmer does not work. Paid a fortune to my electrician 2x & it is still not working . Want a refund! It is the worst!

Two bad units in a row. Cracked bowl.

Great quiet fan except within a week a large crack developed on the glass bowl. I received another from Hunter, this time ensuring I was very careful installing and not overtightening. Again, a crack on the glass.

Outstanding ceiling fan. I would not purchase any other brand, just Hunter ceiling fans.

Easy to install, looks great, works as expected. Pulls are smoother than our previous ceiling fan. I will buy this fixture again from the Home Depot when I need another.

They used to give you weights to balance the fan. Not any more. It was completely removed from the instructions so I know it's not just parts that were left out of the box.
