Not only is it quiet, it’s beautiful too. Love our fan!

This fan is perfect for the home I am building. I bought 4 for the living room and 3 bedrooms. They are quiet, easy to install and really keep the rooms cool in summer heat. Can’t wait to see how they do holding the winter warmth low in these rooms!

the fans work great and quiet.however being remote control there is no way to change the blade direction for the season so i contacted customer service on july 13th 2020,i did get a response letter saying unusual high volume the next day,so now its sept march 12th 2021 and nothing. horrible customer service.its less than a year since installation and the remote stopped working and it takes a special battery so not worth it

This fan starts out working well but it gets noisier and noisier. There is a constant clicking and now there is a constant loud whirring by the motor. Would not purchase this fan again.

Mind if it's own

This fan is really Annoying. The speed of this fan changes multiple times on its own and goes back to the correct setting My itself. It randomly does this throughout the day. I've had this fan for a few years and it's really starting to get on my nerves.

Its OK. Not very bright. I like that its dimmable, and the fan is wonderful. But the light is just still too dim. Would not purchase again.

Loud Motor Hum

I purchased this model because it was the only one available in a bone white finish that I could find. I have 2 installed, one in a living area, one in a bedroom. Both are balanced with no wobble, and still hum incredibly loud at all speeds. The manual said to give it a break in period, but it's been over a week and the hum has not improved. I now have to pay someone to uninstall so i can return them.

Ceiling fan has variable hum

The fan has a variable hum. Despite performing all the troubleshooting suggestions that I was given through Build.com, it still hums.

I finally found what I was looking for when I saw this ceiling fan. I didn’t realize how difficult it was to find one in a warm brown finish with a single light it the center. We went to so many stores and couldn’t find anything close. Wayfair has such a huge selection to choose from and great prices. I purchased two, one for the great room, and one for the deck. Just the look I was going for. Great quality and well packaged.

Get install/ops manual from Minka, not Lowe's

When trying to reverse the blade direction we discovered that the installation/owner's manual available from the Lowe's site is missing an important page (where the direction switch is located). Otherwise this is a decent fan for the price. The materials clearly state that this model does not allow the blade direction to be changed from the remote, but once installed, the fan is quiet and the three speeds and dimmable light are controlled from the remote. My only complaint is "low" speed is too fast, so even though we have a high 14'+ ceiling and should leave it in summer/counter clockwise direction all year round, it's too breezy and feels cold in the winter when all we want is to move hot air down from the ceiling. "High" speed makes the fan shake and it feels like the fan will spin off the ceiling. So we switched it permanently to winter/clockwise once we found the missing piece of information (where the pesky switch was hidden), and limit the speeds to low or medium, which work well for us. One star, as always, for Lowe's lack of service.
