Very pleased with this purchase.

We bought 2 ceiling fans with light kit, although a picture showed the fan being able to be installed without the included light kit. Our ceilings are only 8 feet high and these fans are in the open, so the light kits would be a bit too low for tall people to walk under. The promised "no-light end caps" turned out to not be included (although I was promised through Wayfair chat they would be included), I am thrilled with the fans. (Wayfair is in the process of sending me the end-caps, so we'll see...) The installation was supremely easy! It took hubs less than an hour to remove one fan and install these two. They motor housing is weighty, feels like metal, not cheesy plastic. The grey-toned barn wood side of the blades match our decor, although the other side (a beigey barn wood look) would have coordinated well, too. Very solid, does not wobble or make weird noises. Quiet and pushes a lot of air around. Love the look and the function. Just like the quality of Hunter (and Wayfair) that I've come to expect!

Assembly was easier than I thought it would be. Clear instructions, great customer service!

Warranty not honored on brand new fans

My husband and I bought 3 of these fans for our recently remodeled bedrooms. We hired an electrician to come and hang them and two of the fans turned out to have faulty motors. We called Hunter to see about replacements, but they refused to help saying we had to hire another electrician to come out and take pictures of the wiring of the faulty fans. They refused to help with that cost. We know they were hung and wired correctly because one fan does work. This is why we hired a professional in the first place. So now we’re out HUNDREDS of dollars because the warranty is not being honored. Choose a different company!! Save yourself the money and headache of horrible customer service.

We replaced all 4 of our ceiling fans in our house so they would all match. Very nice fan!! The color is great and I absolutely love the lights. They look really good in our cabin (ish) house.

Fan looks nice. Motor housing is a poor design.

The motor housing does not fit well at all. The notches that supposed to snap the housing to the bracket do not slide on easily in any way. Trying to get this on ended up putting too much upward force on the bracket which then damaged my ceiling. Now I am having to remove what was installed to repair my ceiling drywall. Get rid of the notches to temporarily hold it in place.

Well-built, aesthetically appealing fans

Beautiful fans. Perfect lighting for my master bedroom. I had two of these installed in a 350 sq ft master suite. My electrician said they were some of the nicest fans he’s installed.

This energy efficient Shady Grove Low Profile fan, is 52 inches and has 3 bulbs. With energy efficient LED light bulbs, it makes me feel like I am conserving. It wasn't too hard to install, if you know or have someone who knows what they are doing. It has reversible, 3- speed WhisperWind® motor delivers ultra-powerful air movement with whisper-quiet performance. This is important for me because loud fans really bother me. It does hold up to that because my fan is so quiet! I do recommend this ceiling fan!

Another quality product by Hunter! This style of fan will go with many different decors, as it can enhance almost any of them. It’s closer to a flush mount, but you can buy an extender to have it drop lower. Powerful but very quiet, you can’t go wrong choosing this fan.

Hunter Shady Grove Low Profile with 3 Lights 52 inch, 5 blade indoor ceiling fan is a must for any farmhouse look. This fan looks amazing with the barn wood finish blades (in either brown or gray). The fan base is a sleek satin black. The globes are a clear glass to help finish off the farmhouse look. Definitely helped changed the look of the bedroom. Hunter brand is high quality and sturdy.

I chose this fan to replace our outdated fan. We wanted a fan that was not only efficient but also visually appealing. It is modern and the blades have a different wood finish (warm or light gray oak) on each side to best complement the room hues. Having owned Hunter fans before, I know it is an exemplary brand with outstanding quality. The enclosed instructions were detailed with corresponding images. Since I already had an existing fan, the wiring was already there. It took over 1 hour to install. I did need my wife’s help when initially hanging the first blade. Otherwise, it is a one-person installation. Yet if you do not have electrical experience, I would recommend hiring a professional, even if you have existing wiring, to install this fan. The fan has several nice features such as pull chain control rather than remote. I prefer this because it reduces the likelihood of the remote failing and then needing to replace it in a short time. Also, the fan has 5 reverse blades which makes the fan run quieter and is more efficient in warmer months. This fan is noticeably quiet and does not budge. You can barely tell it is on with the exception of the cool air it emits! I value that 3 LED, dimmable, 4.5 W bulbs were included. The light emitted is very bright. The lightbulb covers are composed of quality thick clear glass which enables these bulbs to be exquisitely displayed. My wife and I are pleased with the appearance and performance of this fan. Most importantly, the estimated energy cost is $12 which is promising during these economic times. We have this fan in our family room, yet I can see it being utilized in the bedroom as well!
