Gatlinburg fan with 4 lights

I'd rather chains instead of remote. Room iscdimly lit. Maybe it's the weird bulbs.

I ordered this ceiling fan with remote for my son’s bedroom. I love the style and the color way. It looks great and he really liked the look.

Our Gatlinburg ceiling fan was just what we were looking for. It is perfect for our guest bedroom. We were impressed by the easy installation and how quiet it is. Highly recommend!

I’m disappointed that you cannot work this fan with the 2 separate fan and light switches on the wall, but only works off 1 switch and the remote leaving one of my wall switches dead. Furthermore there is no caddy for the remote included with this purchase in which case I will surely lose my remote. The wall caddy is another $13 sold separately.

A VERY Solid Option!

We have installed many ceiling fans in new construction projects over the past several years. With price ranges running the gamut from high to low, this fan has by far exceeded form and function over all the others. For this project, I was looking for a ‘basic fan’ with old school wiring that didn’t require fancy footwork and remote controls to make it operate. This fan turned out to be the perfect color (black), operated by a switch on the wall, and solid air flow - all for a great price. Sometimes it just doesn’t pay to spend the extra money because you think the higher price = better quality.

Cannot mount with down rod

Online says you need a wring kit for greater than 36" down rod, installation manual states do not use with greater than 12" down rod. Customer Service told me I should read the manual online before purchasing to make sure information is not conflicting.

Looks Nice. Wish It Could Run Slower

Installation was straightforward. It was not necessarily easier than any other fan I have installed except for the fan blades. They snapped right in place. As far as operation goes, the fan retains the last state in memory so when you turn the light switch on it will come on just as you left it. That is good. The only annoying thing is the lowest fan speed is too fast. I wished it could go slower. The highest fan speed is ludicrously high. No one would ever run it at that speed. If you do run it that fast then it will wobble. Remember to not loose the remote control. If you do, then you'll never be able to adjust the lights or fan again. It will become a dead weight hanging from your ceiling. I may regret the purchase for that reason.

Great fan but lacks diffusers

I bought this fan in Q4 2023 and installed it in my master bedroom. It's beautiful, stately, and quiet, but I found that the lack of diffusers bothersome. Since I watch TV from my bed, the naked bulbs were always in my field of vision, leaving afterimages in my retinas, such that I worried about the long-term effects on my eyesight. I returned the fan and switched it out for a Highdale, which has three bulbs and a huge diffuser. Except for that one issue with the bulbs, I can recommend the Gatlinburg; it'd be fine in a Dining Room, Family Room, or similar, where the bulbs aren't constantly in your field of vision.

Great stylish fan

Great stylish fan for kids room. Very easy to install. I love the clips cable connectors not experts need it just follow the instructions. Fan runs very smooth and quiet.

Basic low cost ceiling fan that works and operates as advertised. A good all purpose fan.

I was not able to mount the lights

Excellent fan quality. The light kit was improperly wired and i was not able to properly mount it. The internal wires were too short which did not allow the modular plug to fit in the housing. I have 6 hunter fans in my home and thid was the first problem i have had

Weird but good.

I haven't hung a fan for a while. Things have changed. No, you can not remove the stem to directly attach the canopy. The plastic canopy just clicks into place. Instead of wirenuts, there's a terminal strip. The black and red terminals do not have continuity to eachother. The blades must be installed with a particular side down. Unit comes with 4 l.e.d. bulbs which have a normal E26 base. I doubt the electronics would like a conventional bulb. Bulbs are Longstar 5A15DU4.5WMA. Fan is very quiet and moves air well. No balancing kit included, nor was one needed. Number one gripe is that no wall bracket was provided for the remote (Hunter 99795.)
