Short lived

I bought this item for a customer of mine and it was a perfect fit but it lasted about two months and quit. And when I tried emailing about warranty information my message was blocked so as of right now it looks like I just wasted $60

This is a great retrofit for a round fluorescent fixture. My bulb was getting dark and dim and I decided to replace it with a LED for energy efficiency and longer life. The LEDs don't get as hot as the old bulb because of the greater efficiency. I left it at the default 3000k warm white and I am pleased with the brightness and color. It can easily be changed to 5000k by changing a wire connection. I haven't used a dimmer on it so I can't comment on that feature. It attached magnetically to the metal base in my old fixture. Instructions say you can leave the old ballast in place after disconnecting it, but I elected to remove it since it only took an extra minute and gave me a cleaner install.
