Gladiator products were always top of line. Now many pieces arrive with missing hardware, damaged from mfgr or poor handling by shipper resulting in damage to product.

Wavy top, shipping damage

My bench was delivered by Whirlpool delivery, and I got it all assembled. Overall, I'm satisfied with the bench, but there are a couple of issues that need to be mentioned because they may affect others depending upon their needs.

Work bench

This is the six foot work bench and it fits my she shed garage perfectly. It is adjustable so I get the best height for my tall size. It is very heavy but the table top is a 6 foot butcher block. just a beautiful look for my she shed garage.

Fantastic Workbench

I have built my own workbenches for years, both wood working and metal working. This Gladiator workbench, bought through Home Depot, is absolutely fantastic. It is solid as a rock; looks good; solid construction; easy to assembly; and effortless height adjustment. I am very fussy in selecting my tools, shop and equipment. Thank you Gladiator for a brilliant piece of engineering and manufacturing. The packaging includes lots of foam padding, so this arrived undamaged.

Exactly what I was looking for

It was easy to set up - but just a quick note, you'll need a socket wrench if you are putting it together yourself. Very sturdy (heavy!), and I love that it is adjustable. A perfect work table.

Quality Construction and Rock Solid Stability

This is the second workbench I'd purchased, and I highly recommend it! There are three standout features that make this bench attractive:

Quality, heavy duty table

Very good quality build. Heavy duty steel and thick, solid wood work surface. As with all the Premium level pre-assembled products from Gladiator, the table comes very well packed and comes out of the shipping box free from any damage due to shipping.

Delivery fail

Never got it - ordered it online and had it canceled and rescheduled for delivery twice - ultimately canceled the order and bought a Stanley bench from Home Depot

Heavy Duty, Easy Assembly, Great Value

Just finished setting up my new workbench, it was AMAZINGLY simple to put together. I love the adjustable height as I was able to push my mobile tool cart under it along side my garbage can and stool. It puts the finishing touch on my new garage organization, and thus far, I'm thrilled with my purchase.

The bench is outstanding for work, sturdy and solid. However, the delivery was horrible. Home Depot took three (3) tries before getting it right. Home Depot damaged the first two benches initially delivered to the store. I had to wait eleven (11) weeks for delivery time, and Home Depot didn't even offer a discount or anything. So, I'll assume Home Depot thinks it is my fault they damaged the first two benches. I'm becoming very skeptical of the store's capabilities to deliver anything without damaging or breaking it apart. Unsat, such a large company, cannot get it right on something as simple as providing the products they are selling. I don't think that management doesn't read this at all. However, training employees with a forklift can go a long way in customer satisfaction. Perhaps a logistical plan for large/heavy items can be put in place to save money, time, and aggravation

Well Worth It

I now own 3 Gladiator workbenches and none of them have disappointed. They are aesthetically pleasing (great for indoor applications) and have excellent weight capacities.

Pro quality in a home garage

Excellent workbench. Rock solid, beautiful finish. I have three of these in my garage. Started with one, and it’s been so great over the years, that I bought two more when I expanded my home shop

Not just a "work" bench

I use this workbench as my desk for my PC setup. I was contemplating on whether to buy one of those electric standing desks, but ultimately decided on this and I'm glad I did. The legs are extremely sturdy and the finish on the wood looks buttery smooth.
