This cost a fraction of what my local plumbing supply house wanted for a branded product. No need to spend 3x the money for a flange that can barely be seen in the shower. This does the job quite well. We purchased the ceiling rain shower 10" from home essentials direct. Also, another fantastic product.

Threads match a standard elbow, as they should. Trim does not scratch the pipe when positioning in place. Length is just right. No leaks after a month of use, just remember to use teflon tape.
