Springs Aren't Strong Enough

I have done a lot of recessed light retrofits....mostly using the puck type light. However, I had a project that required me to use traditional bulbs instead of integrated bulbs, so I decided to use these. These are great until you get to the wiring. The weight and tension of the wiring pulled the cans down on the side leaving about an inch gap. Even after tacking the wiring to the studs, the units tilted slightly. I ended up having to add a bead of caulk to hold the lights in place.

The easiest install for existing lighting. Cut a hole in the ceiling, plug in your wires and your set.

Once you cut the 6 1/4" hole in the ceiling- connect wires and hold the two spring claps and push it into the hole and your done. (easy) I just put 6 into my kitchen ceiling. They look very well but you have to use LED floodlamps. 65 watt equals about 5 watts, max. 15 watts. You can add an LED dimmer for the best effect. I used daylight LED's. (call an electrician if your not comfortable with electrical work to be safe) I replaced track lighting.

First off, they are simple to install and are not expensive. They also work. The electrical connection box is ok.

I got this Halo - CEZ 6 in. White Recessed Light Canless EZ-Trim Lamp-Based Direct Mount and love it. I mounted this above my kitchen sink. It works great and looks nice. I would recommend this product.

Great Halo Lamp!

This is the best Halo light lamp. It really gives a great amount of light after setting this up in our garage. Our garage had very little light but the 6 inch light works amazingly. I am so happy I am able to see in the garage so much better. It is the perfect size and weight to place anywhere you need more light. I would recommend to everyone!

Helpful instructions

We have the 6 inch Halo Canless EZ- trim Direct Mount Downlight to remodel the lower level of our home. The directions have a template to use when cutting out your circle from the drywall which makes it very easy. Step by step instructions are given from that point to easily install the fixture without any tools. The attached white metal ring easily hides any slip ups from the cutting of the hole. Attractive and gives great light!!

Easy to Install

We like this Halo 6 inch recessed can. It uses both LED and incandescent light bulbs. It is easy to install with two spring clips which hold the unit securely in place. The baffle is integrated into the can. It is very quick to install which is a money saver for the professional. Halo Brand is premiere brand in the industry. We also like the multi sizes the can comes in so they all match.

Loving the LED

HALO - CEZ SIX INCH WHITE RECESSED LIGHT CANLESS EZ - TRIM E TWENTYSIX LAMP BASED DIRECT MOUNT. I am really happy with the Canless LED Light. I replaced one of the really old canless lights in my house and WOW what a difference! This was easy to install, directions easy to follow and no more changing light bulbs! I prefer the white light and this one is bright and pretty!

Nice light

This white recessed light was so easy to install I replaced a bad can light in my living room ,but I have already ordered 3 more because it was so easy to install I am going to update them all. Simply remove the old light ,use the existing wiring and clip in place the new led can light. It is now brand new and a lot cheaper to run led lights .they look so good I am very happy and I can do it anyone can.

exactly how advertised

The CEZ 6 in White recessed light canless EZT-trim E26 Lamp-Based Direct Mount came exactly as I expected. It is true to its advertisement. Easy to install and works great.

Easy install

The fixture is well built and fit exactly into the pre-cut hole. Electrical was easy as well. The light is bright and the housing clipped in perfectly. Nice to have white housing instead of the old yellowed housing from the old lamp.Very happy customer.

Attractive retro-fit

This is perhaps the easiest retro-fit can light ever. I have used the standard ones, which require a lot of trickery to get the clips in correctly. This one provides very simple, spring-loaded clips that adheres to the drywall from above. Very easy to get it right. "Mousetrap" style springs are used to hold the can in place. With the beveled style, you just hold the mousetrap springs open while putting the can through the hole in the ceiling and, when you let them go, they spring back. Keep your fingers out of the way! Then you pull the can down flush to the drywall.

Excellent option

I got this CEZ 6 in. White recessed light canless EZ-trim E26 lamp-based direct mount and really like the design HALO did because it is a perfect substitute for the bulky can recessed light fixture, this model improvement made a shallow can that only uses 2 strong wings to make it airtight with the ceiling. The joint wire connection box is close to the can and offers pushing connectors for the wire up which is a faster and efficient connection. It’s a E26 lamb-based which is great because you can choose from different LED light bulbs. Comes with all accessories needed and instructions with diagrams for installation, a printed hole cut out is included so won’t be guessing. Easy to install and no maintenance required.
