I purchased the Anzzi Nighshade clawfoot tub in the matte black finish. The tub is beautiful, however, the black finish came with a super sticky residue everywhere. I tried sanding the tub as it says to do in the manual published on Anzzi's website. The goo just clogged up the sandpaper instantly. I submitted a customer service request on the Anzzi website and have received no response in four days so far even though the auto-reply says expect a response within 4 hours.

this is just a gorgeous bathtub - waiting for install, so I can't see the entire thing yet. I was a little hesitant because it was a big purchase and I could not see it in person. the finish is very nice matte black and white. I found it here for thousands less than other sites!
