I probably would not buy this fan again.

The fan itself is solid and beautiful. The issue I have is that the control system is very poorly designed. First, the wall switch only works well In place of a switch that controls the fan. If you have a two-way or three-way wall switch system to turn on the ceiling fan from multiple locations, their controller cannot be wired to work as intended. Our electrician spent hours trying to make it work and could not. What is really bad? Is that the switch Controls power to the fan electrically but fan and light intensity selections are done wirelessly. In essence, it is a remote that is installed in the wall. The huge design flaw is that the switch literally needs to be removed from the wall to change the batteries. it is about as dumb of a design as I have ever seen. It makes me wonder if Hunter selected this product which is built by another company without understanding what they were getting. Ultimately, what I wound up with is a system that has three wall switches that have to be set in the correct positions for me to control the fan and light with a separate wireless remote that I purchased. But to get the level of control that I need, I also have to use the wall switch to adjust the speed or light intensity. It's just a shame that such a wonderful fan comes with A very poorly designed control system. It makes me wonder if an engineer was even involved in the process.

Love the fan, but I have the controller. It operates by remote only, and simple things like "adjusting the speed" are now difficult

they seem to think that a remote control is wall mounted, I consider hand held is a remote control. who wants to get up every time you want to change fan speed or turn on the light

When you have more than one fan the switches interfere Wi th h each other and you have to keep messing with them to get both to turn on.

This doesn't have a remote control. It has the controls on the wall. This is not what I consider a remote control if you have to turn on the light or change the speed for the fan which really very poor

Fan looks great but stopped working the first time it rained because of moisture getting to it. This fan did not hold up for outdoor use.

Doesn’t move any air

I had a great experience with another Home Depot (cheap) brand that where I installed a 72” fan and it put out immense air, almost unbelievable. We built a house and I installed both a 60” and 72” version of this fan and both are very disappointing. I’d venture to guess a 48” or smaller fan would beat these things in air movement. Very very disappointing and horribly overpriced. Absolutely false states in the cubic feet of air movement. Look elsewhere / buy the cheap Home Depot brand and you'll be much happier!!!

Quiet and effective.

The fan is quiet, stylish and puts out a lot of air. Easy to install.

This fan gives me heartburn!

I bought this fan in July, and it really gives me heartburn. The switch and the fan don't communicate well. The light comes on when the button is pressed, but the fan has to think about - sometimes for five minutes or more. It is absolutely maddening! This fan would be far better if it had a pull chain. Sometimes old school is best.

Advertisement indicated 2-Dow rods, only came with a3inch and not a 6 inch. Customer service stated we would get it , never happened. Returned fans

Working well once installed. Install was a bit slow but if you have an extra person no problem.

This definitely upgraded our patio! The fan is sturdy and well built and doesn't make noise when it's on. The panel it came with is a bit unattractive, but I prefer that over a remote control.
