Installed one of these several years ago on a different toilet and it's still going strong. Has not loosened at all. What I really like is the molded in "feet" on the seat. These are commonly attached separately and either break or fall off or collect dirt. Not so with this seat - stays neat and clean. Well worth the extra money for this seat.
