Great small pot

Needed a new soup pot that was smaller than my large stockpot. This one works very well. Nice handles. Like the glass top. Internal and external surfaces clean easily.

Do Not Buy Damaged Goods

Given to me as a gift. I'm a home chef and have many pots. This one is not good. Used it twice, once for rice and once for soup. The pot had developed a scratch - NOT from me. I have my pots for years and they look like new. I take pride in them. Contacted customer service and without any discussion they sent me a return label. Next thing I know my money is returned MINUS $30 without ANY communication. Called and they said I used it. Are they for real. QUALITY POTS don't develop scratch after two uses. QUALITY companies stand behind their products. Customer service rep was overall not professional and rude in my opinion. Walk, don't run to another company like Green Pan, Scan Pan or Viking for your nonstick needs. Don't buy from a company that doesn't stand behind the quality of their merchandise. Disappointed truly.

Perfect size!

Perfect size for 2 people! Have been looking for a versatile pot that was smaller than my big stock pot. Downsizing cooking to 2 people from 5 can be a challenging and having the right size pot is essential. Cleaning is easy. Glass lid works well on stove or in oven. Haven't found any cons to this pan. it even nestles inside my big pot for easy storage!

Good buy

Good quality pot. Have been using for a month and am happy with it. Cleans very nicely. It is cheaper now than when I bought and this new price more accurately reflects its quality. I paid $225 and that was a bit over priced I think. Overall, still happy.

Great pot, easy to clean, but heats poorly on induction cooktop

Nice soup pot, perfect size for up to four people. Cleanup is a breeze. It comes out beautifully clean after going through the dishwasher. The only drawback is that we use it with an induction cooktop and it heats water slowly compared to other designs. I suspect this happens because there isn't much mass in the stuck-on induction baseplate. The D3 stainless steel AllClad pots have more steel mass to work with induction and therefore heat water much more quickly than the HA1 pots.

The perfect pot!

The perfect everyday pot! I bought this to replace a very old pot of the same size and shape…a pot that I thought was irreplaceable, until it was so old that I had to replace it. Guess what? This one by All Clad is way better! The solid stainless base on the outside conducts heat beautifully. The non-stick covering is excellent. The two handles make it easy to lift and move the pot (unlike a single handled saucepan). I use it nearly every day for a variety of dishes. One of my best purchases!

Perfect. Just perfect.

Perfect size, perfect weight, excellent quality, use all the time with no issues. A must have staple in your collection. My mother fell in love with mine and i had to buy her one. Shes a homesteader , retired, but also is just her and my father….this works great for All her needs.

Top quality pot- not sure about the shape

I love the all clad bake wear and this 8 qt soup pot is great. Cleans easily and size is perfect for bigger soups or meals. Only thing I’m not certain about is the how the pot busts out at the bottom (pear shaped), making it bigger than most of my stove top burners. Fits best on my largest burner but that’s usually reserved for my sauté dish when cooking.

Im Delighted with my choice!

I LOVE the size of this pot! It is just perfect for cooking so many things - like boiling corn on the cob, fresh green beans, steaming broccoli, just to name a few and it will see a lot of use this winter when we really get back to cooking inside. It has become a real ?go to? for me plus the double handles make it so easy for my arthritic fingers to handle!

Pot was defective and All-Clad customer service is terrible.

We got this pot in one of All-Clad's sets and NONE of the lids fit into it (SEE PHOTO), so the pot itself was incorrectly made since those same lids fit into the other equally-sized pans. In fact, all the lids would just pop out of this thing, not settling in nicely.

Beautiful cookware

I purchased the 10 piece set and wanted a additional pots. This soup pot is a good size. The pot is very nice looking and well made. The cookware is heavier than most and conducts heat well. The non stick coating is good. I followed the instructions and seasoned the pots and pans. I only hand wash in order to help protect the coating and life of the cookware.

Excellent Nonstick Multi purpose cookware

This cookware has vertical sides for easier cooking and serving. I cook supper as a multi tasker- I can stir and add to pot. I stir too fast so I can knock little bit out of the pan; yes I have a messy stovetop. I get cooking done and place the lid on top to stage supper. Love the glass lid so I can keep an eye on supper while get the rest finished for supper. Love this pan with short lift handles so stores on lazy susan well. Handles was first love.

My cooking has risen to a new level, thanks to this soup pot.

I love the All-Clad 4 quart soup pot because it is just the right size for the chowders, soups, and other dishes that I make to serve 2 to 4 people, with leftovers on hand. Built solidly, but not too heavy, easy to see what's happening with the clear glass lid. I love the double handles and non stick interior for easy cleanup. I WANT to use this soup pot, which is the best reason to own one.

Fabulous pot!

I bought this pot to finish out the All-Clad ® Essentials Non-Stick 10-Piece Set I'd purchased a month or so prior. So far I HIGHLY recommend all of these All-Clad pieces. They warm up very quickly and hold their heat. I find I actually have to turn the burner down because the pots are so efficient. This pot is the perfect size for pasta & soups. The whole set cleans-up well and looks great. I use several of them daily. LOVE them so far.
