Doesent perform as advertised

Uneven heating with a hotspot where your heat source is and my cheap electric stove in the place I rent can't keep up with this thing I can't brown more than a cup of food at a time an induction stove would probably work better oh and allclad discontiued this thing for a reason its apparently not as dishwasher safe as they say

Worth the money!

This Stock Pot is very well made and a product of the USA. We have several D5 All-Clad pots and pans. The D5 design tends to favor lower profiles than the other versions. The lower profile offers more surface area and a more even heating (yay)...but when you need to stir with the pots uncovered, it also potentially allows stews,soups, or fudge to splatter over the stove and backsplash. We purchased this stock pot specifically to capture these splatters. And it work beautifully. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth paying for a quality product made in the USA instead of China.

The Perfect Stock Pot

The 12 quart 5D stock pot is worth the investment. It’s made in the USA (Pennsylvania). It’s the perfect size for making a variety of stocks. The beveled edge at the top of the pot provides a good seal with the lid — keeps steam/moisture from escaping. The sides of the pot retain heat for even heat distribution. My beef and chicken broths cooked great! Worth every penny.

I have been waiting to get this stockpot for years, and I finally treated myself to it. I can’t believe I waited this long to get it! It is now my new favorite and go to pot for my vegetable soup and my chicken and sausage gumbo! My kids are already trying to lay claim to the pot after I check-out!

Wonderful medium sized-stock pot. It is an All-Clad, know for its durability and the evenness of the cooking when you use it.

I’m so disappointed. This pot isn’t stainless as advertised. It’s rather unfortunate that I destroyed the package like it I will return it.

My All Clad

I have had my All Clad for 25 yrs or more. Use them everyday they look brand new. Would recommend purchasing any of the stockpots. Just remember if your younger and just start out, your family will grow might consider purchasing for a grown family

[Rewarded Review] The everything pot

Large 8 quart Dutch oven/stockpot that is great for soups,stews, Italian tomato sauces, meatballs, anything that requires a large capacity. I call it the everything pot because it can even be used in the oven.
