Even heat distribution, premium materials and well priced. Only issue with this stockpot it does not have stay cool handles.

It browns to golden and I couldn't be happier! The 5 ply and weight is good, if one could have cooler handles and top it would be perfect!

Finally got it

The wife bought me the 8qt nonstick and it's a great pot, but I needed some horsepower to cook pasta and a load of other items that need high heat and this is just the thing. Love it but I love all of my Misen products.

Top quality cookware

This stockpot is heavy and feels like it’s going to last a lifetime! Well made and cooks really well. Appreciate the excellent customer support of Misen. They have been very responsive.

Not too big, not too small

I have no complaints about my new stockpot. I like that the lid is stainless steel and not the more popular glass lid. It looks good and match my other misen pans.

GREAT ADDITION

I've been replacing my cookware a few pieces at a time and this stockpot is a wonderful addition. So happy to be back to stainless steel although it does seems to scratch easily. I've used Bar Keepers Friend but it's not doing the trick.

Like it so far

I was going to buy another name brand stock pot, but I felt like it was a little too much for my budget. Anyway, I do own some pots from the name brand, but this is comparable in quality. I was looking for a pot that I can make soups and broth in larger amounts, and it works just for that. The material feels very sturdy and well made. It's nicely polished and beautiful on the outside, with was to grip handles. Initially, the 8 quart stockpots I was looking atr the other one was lower and more wide in the base. I prefer that this pot goes up higher, so it doesn't take up as much room in the base on the stovetop.
