This is amazing for steaming my burgers on my griddle. The handle does not get hot. It's perfect!

It needs to be larger so that you can fit at least 2 Burger Pattie’s underneath when melting cheese.

High quality and durability

I love this lid, it's made w/ high-quality stainless steel. It can withstand up to 500F degrees. I used it on the grill, and as a cover in the oven when I make sourdough bread.

Dome sweet Dome !!

well in a few words . . . I love this well built #304 food grade Stainless Steel Dome because my food becomes even more delicious when I baste [cooking with steam] such things as eggs . . . steam powered is all natural and all you need is a food grade squeeze bottle with a skinny nozzle and cap to squirt maybe a few tablespoons of distilled water along side your food in this case eggs. after you squirt a few tablespoons of water away from your eggs you simply cover the food with this very sturdy Dome/Lid . You'll be amazed at how delicious it tastes OMG so much better not to mention cooks faster than a lousy microwave which is dangerous without good seals and a complete built in Faraday Shield . . . [ I personally use the new InfraRed Food Mover which uses/generates less heat and perfectly cooks almost anything you desire, from fresh French Bread or Focaccia to Steak or Chops to Cinnamon rolls bakery treats or pies !!] My point is that this Dome/Lid seats itself around the food and allows the steam to melt cheese on a cheese steak or basting eggs without flipping them over ;-) Right out of the box I tested this dome on my griddle by making fried eggs and homemade hash browns . I laid some extra sharp cheddar cheese chunks on my browns, squirt a bit of water away from the hashbrowns, then immediately covered them with my new dome, let the steam do its thing and wowza my food looked so good that I didnt want to eat it lol this is a high quality cooking tool you will use more than a few times Im sure. . . lol
