Had To Return

Really wanted this to work and save space. First, the base in the photos shows as black but came in the color white which felt very misleading. Had to return because the bolts and tools need to be rechecked. Some of the bolts do not fully tighten. I went out and bought additional tools after messaging with someone from the company but that did not help. I was not comfortable putting my brand new 55 inch tv on something that was wobbly which was very disappointing.

Sleek, Sturdy & Adjustable

As someone else said, this thing is built like a tank. I’ve got a heavyweight old school TV on it and I have zero fear of this thing failing and that’s without using the wall anchor. It’s sleek, sturdy, adjustable and, I didn’t know this until I contacted the company about something…paintable! Apparently, there’s a powder coat finish on it that makes it paintable to match your wall. Lastly, customer service is top notch. I had an issue with a part and they fast tracked a replacement part out to me. Get this!!!!

Awesome solution

This is an awesome solution if you don't want to put a bunch of holes in the wall, it looks sleek behind our dresser for a mounted TV look without all the drilling.

Works Well

I was dubious at first, but this works well, we didn't want to put holes in the wall and this has allowed us to make the TV look like its fixed on the wall without all the extra holes and with the media unit in front it looks pretty tidy.

Excellent product

Am really impressed with this TV stand. It uses the weight of the bottom piece and a sturdy wall to rest it against to hold the TV up against the wall without having to drill holes for a bracket. Also an added bonus the upright piece hides the cables. I have placed a small chair in front of the stand and it blends in really well, it is in a bedroom. A chest of drawers would also work.

Very smart and functional design, perfect for rentals

I needed to elevate my TV to use a soundbar under my TV -- the original feet included were very low profile. I was originally going to wall-mount the TV, but as I live in an apartment I didn't want to go drilling holes in the walls. I looked at other free-standing TV stands first, but when I discovered this one I knew it'd be worth trying. PROS: - Truly secure "wall-like" mount for your TV without having to damage your walls with holes. Provides the flexibility of appearing like a wall-mount while being able to move to new locations and adjust height after mounting. - The stand acts as a cable run too so your setup stays looking clean. - Very low profile, perfect for putting a media console in front while still being able to get very close to the wall. - HEAVY and STURDY. The stand weighs about 32 lbs or so and it's 100% metal. When my TV is mounted, the stand stays glued to the wall -- I feel very confident it will never move or fall, I personally feel no need to use the wall anchor. - Overbuilt yet sleek, this should work with any future TV I get as well, I anticipate using this stand for a LONG time. Cons: - Mine came with the COMPLETELY incorrect tool for tightening the nuts to build the stand. I had my own tools that fit the size nuts they provided, but AVF should double check their factory to make sure the hardware being included is correct to spec. - The packaging is just OK, mine came with a good gash to the paint of the front lower half of the stange due to parts rubbing together in shipping. For me personally I'm using this behind a shelf unit so I don't see it, but if I were having it free-standing I'd be annoyed. (Looks easy enough to touch up with new paint, though.) - The cable management channel on the back is good but it can be hard to use after you mount the TV -- pre-route the cables you need before mounting the TV to make things easier. - Would have liked to have seen a few lower mounting locations for the TV, the lowest is slightly too high for a 55" TV, but if you have a 65 ot 75" I imagine it should look perfect. (I suppose I can always drill my own.) Notes: - The instructions say to place a plastic washer between the TV mount bracket and the stand. I found this washer introduces a lot of side-to-side sway to the TV, so I took those washers off to have the mount sit tight and flush against the stand. The TV has far less wobble now - The product photos show a black foot on the stand. Mine came with a white foot. (I prefer this, actually.) Just noting yours might come with a white foot. This is a stand that successfully fulfills a specific need: to "wall-mount" your TV without actually wall mounting it. It's a bit expensive but I do feel very confident in its construction and design functionality.

This is a great product - and exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend connecting it to the wall to make it very secure - but it looks very neat and is a great solution to putting the TV "on the wall" where your wall may not necessarily support the weight. It feels really good quality and I like the fact you can level the TV after fitting. Very happy.

This mount is perfect! We are unable to mount in our condo so we were looking for other options. This is great because it has a very slim profile, both the standing support and the floor support (slides under an AV center with ease).

Easy to Put Together and Holds Well

And hides the cords easily behind the metal frame! Actually getting another one for upstairs. No holes in wall or drilling!

Great Idea

We have used this in our bedroom to put a TV "on the wall" above a set of drawers, we were reluctant to drill into the wall and use a normal bracket as we weren't sure about the wall we would have been securing it to, but this has done the job perfectly, it's neat how the cables are now hidden behind the white upright without us needing to add any cable trunking.

Don't bother

Although solid in material, the quality is not adequate. Most disappointing is the fact that the product can not stand up on its own against the wall with a 55 tv attached. I noticed after 30 mins the the stand and tv where almost about to fall over! It advertises that the product can stand alone and OR be drilled into a wall. If you cannot drill the stand to a wall then do not bother. I can't comment on the quality when drilled.
