While a lot bigger than what I thought it would be, it is very unique and I really do like it. The glass is mercury glass. The outer rim appears more black or very dark brown flat finish than it does an oil bronze. With that being said it is quite a unique lamp and puts out quite a bit of light. I will be putting in a dimmer switch which will make it more aesthetically pleasing to me. I had an electrician install it although this appeared to be extremely easy to do by oneself. The outer dome is a very light mesh and I'm going to say a slight goldish brown sheen. A very unique lamp to put over a dinette table. It happened to be on sale when I got it and that made me extremely happy. I could see from the quality it would be a more expensive lamp. You know when it's a good quality when the manufacturer puts one of their cards in with the lamp. They want to advertise their company. I can't wait to have company come over to see my new lighting. These pictures were taken prior to dusk but it does give off quite a bit of light. I want to thank Wayfair once again for having an excellent selection for me to choose from. I'm doing a bit of mix and matching and this works out perfectly with the rest of the lamps I have purchased for my new used home. I've been changing out all my lighting to give it a more modern look. My electrician really did like the quality of the lamp as well as the looks.

I had this light hung in my bedroom it looks so nice. I get many compliments on it.

I love the way this looks. Minus one star because the outer woven 'basket' is slightly tilted compared to the inner glass lampshade. Still, it looks high end.

Just beautiful…draws everyone’s attention

This is a great light. Put Edison bulbs in and its super pretty at night. Not sure why people had a hard time with assembly. It was easy for us.

Beautiful fixtures

I really like this fixture. It warms my entry. The size is perfect and hangs just the right amount for my nine foot ceilings. It was very easy to put up for my husband except the screws that were included were too short and required a trip to the hardware store. If not, installation would have been quick.
